TMNT CGI Teaser Poster
Nuff' Said. And Vegita-san of Ninja Turles Network has a new interview up with Peter Reneday the voice of Splinter, Vernon and many others on the old toon. That too. EDIT: Oh, and Peter Laird, Michael Dooney, Jim Lawson, Steve Lavigne and Dan Berger will all be at the Paperback Bazaar on May 22nd in Portsmouth, NH. They will also be selling the limited edition TMNT Volume 1 Issue #1 reprint. Woot.

Is it all going to be CGI like Final Fantasy or will their be live actors, like in Scooby Doo? Either way this looks pretty cool.

It's going to be fully done with CGI.

Ooh! I love how it looks already! Very Mirage-esque. ^_^

Hmm... I honestly don't know what to think of the poster. I think it's cool that it reflects the Mirage style, but will kids watching the new show (and have no knowledge of the comics) embrace it? Well, I'm not gonna try and delve too deeply in this, since it's only a teaser poster after all.

Well, the first movie was pretty Mirage-esq, and whenever I bring up TMNT that's what most people talk about first...
I'm really digging how it looks, but I wanna see an animation clip. |

Voices. I want to know the voices. Any poor choices will immediately and totally turn me off to the whole thing.
*shrugs* But that's just me. I have a thing for voices.

All the movies created AFTER the first where compared to the first. So it is easy to see why they wish to take the style from the comics(which i feel are taken from the first flick) and create it in CGI where they can do more Ninja like moves. Case in point is crouching tiger, if the flick could be done in that sort of dark setup, with some CGI moves with the CGI turtles, it would be a work of genius.

Point Taken, but for the record it's the first movie that took after the comics, not the other way around. See our TMNT FAQ in General TMNT Disscussion for details.

Here's a cleaner version of the poster. You can see Leo's eye in this one.
