Wave 3 of the TMNT ReAction figures [Splinter, Baxter, April, Krang, Undercover Don, and Space Cadet Raphael] will be arriving in stores next week:https://twitter.com/super7store/stat...86484445196288
I think we will see wave 4 [Casey Jones, Samurai Leonardo, Sewer Surfer Michelangelo, and Foot Soldier (Battle Damage variant)] before the year is out. |

Maybe...they were up for pre-order and then got pulled down. I think I heard there will be a delay on those into 2021 (including wave 3 transformers)

I saw these in person & ultimately couldn't help but grab Leo. I was in an old school toy shop that had other actually vintage carded TMNT alongside them & they blended right in, that's what sold me. There's so much nostalgic charm going on with the packaging & product combined. I dunno that I'd go all-in, but I can definitely see getting key favorites, such as Casey Jones & Muckman.

There probably won’t be a Muckman ReAction figure until next year.

The latest ReAction wave is out: https://news.toyark.com/2020/07/09/t...-super7-393294
You can see a picture of the turtle boys with Master Splinter and his Bo staff here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CCbTojFg4Na/?hl=en Turbopork uploaded his image of Undercover Donatello for the ReAction line and an oldie of the 1989 Baxter Stockman figure here: https://www.instagram.com/turbopork/?hl=en Raph?s sewer space suit is gone this time around. It is a ninja space suit now. ReAction Splinter is missing his walking stick, but the tri-circle symbols from the classic FW cartoon are present. ReAction Baxter is not wearing a button down shirt (his appearance is closer to the FW fly Baxter than the old figure). I do not know how ReAction Donatello is undercover without his Foot-Foolin Detective Disguise, but it is missing. Also, it does not look like ReAction Krang is removable from his Mobile Life Support System. Poor ReAction April looks nothing like even the NECA 2-Pack figure or any other April figure before it for that matter. Frankly, I liked the last set of ReAction figures better than these. Still, it is nice to see this S7 3 3/4 inch toyline taking off. Last edited by mikey0; 07-09-2020 at 12:26 PM. |

That April's face... she looks a lot like Ellie Sattler from Jurassic Park.

ReAction April does not have the physique that the ?88 figure had, either.

True, but STILL I think she's perfect as she has that vintage early 80's toy feeling. The only thing I don't like are the artworks on the boxes: that style is not... accurate.

I agree with you on the style. It is too bad the art is not more like that used for the Masters of the Universe ReAction figures. There should be closeups of the characters for the TMNT ReAction cardbacks. I do not like the purple bricks for the ReAction turtles and allies. I believe the ReAction turtles and their allies should have brighter bricks since they are the good guys. Also, I wish the illustrations were on the left side of the box like the originals, but I understand that S7 is going for the early 80s action figure cardback look. Need that Krang, it's so cute & dorky, like a bootleg (in a good way).

Megalopolis Toys and Entertainment Earth still have pre-orders up for the wave 4 TMNT ReAction figures (Casey, Sewer Samurai Leo, Sewer Surfer Mike, and the Battle Damaged Foot Soldier).
The 1st wave of the TMNT ReAction figures (Bebop, Rocksteady, Leo, and Ralph) seems to be the best out of them all so far. There were more accessories made for the wave 1 ReAction figures. I wonder if there will be a ReAction Party Wagon, Turtlecycle, and Footcruiser. I don?t like ReAction April?s long hair, but Krang?s big upper lip is funny to look at. How far do you all see this toyline going? Will there be more ReAction turtle variants besides the disguised turtles next year and the years after? Will we get mutants, aliens, and human allies from the year 1991? What about a larger Technodrome than the 1990 Technodrome? Two to three waves a year or more than that? What will become of the ReAction TMNT line? |

You know I was thinking I'd be more apt to cop these at the price if they made like the Storage Shell Turtles, but then again they'd probably make those like $35 :/

Storage Shell ReAction figures?! That would be neat and S7 could make the belts black for a SDCC exclusive.
With the Battle Damaged Foot Soldier ReAction figure being made, I wonder what other figures S7 will come up with that were never in the original Playmates toyline. |
