Now for the really hard questions...

Is this show's well-being going to depend on a toy line? Because despite how good the 2002 He-Man show was, the kiddies didn't buy the figures and it got scrapped before it could reach a proper conclusion.

Unless the figures really suck, I'm buying them.

I don't think this show will rely on toys, it'll be like Voltron. But if they did make toys I'd be all over that. But I wonder who'd make them, Mattel or Super7 who currently license MOTU from Mattel, probably depends on specialty figures or mass retail

This show is for little girls so any toyline would be mass retail, I'm also guessing it's not going to be based on toys. Netflix shows don't seem to be based on that but both Voltron and Stretch Armstrong had a toyline, I'm unsure how the toylines did though. Voltron actually had a special order where Netflix was comitted to 78 episodes from the getgo, I doubt She-Ra would have that but who knows, Paramount and Netflix seem to be good buddies.

We did see that Mattel are toying with the idea of Barbie and Monster High styled MOTU figures, while the test dolls was vintage style it's possible a modern She-Ra line could form from it.

I am sorry about your situation, but it looks like people who surrounded you failed to properly explain what is what.
Also, I don't think female superheroines could make you hate all things girly.

And that's fine, but if one's objections to them are due to the fact that the character doesn't look 'female' enough for you...I have to question if that's a problem with the art or the person viewing the art.
There are some universal biological codifiers, when it comes to sex, which are not (SURPRISE!!) tied to sexism.
Most people have no problems to tell women from men and vice versa.

Voltron only recently got a home video release...and unfortunately it was only a barebones DVD rather than Blu-ray. I have to wonder if the home video market has changed to where we won't see home releases of streaming shows after a point. I'm too cheap to have Netflix, but there are a lot of animated projects they've done that I'd like to see.

I'd imagine there will be a "She-Ra Classics" line if there isn't already.

Cool. What else can I say? Do you always argue when people pointing out your actions? Like if you go to the shop, do you lecture manager when they say that you've taken milk from the shelf or something?
What points, all I did was put Manchuldren in quotation marks, thats not parroting your points, going by that logic you are parroting my points when you quote me.

Its hard because you word it weird. The word "if" is a very useful word especially if you want to make a hypothetical scenario and not commenting current events.

Maybe not in the tiniest detail but enough where I don't have to be a mind reader to understand what you are saying.

How was that a rhetorical question, the function of a rhetorical question is to make a point so what point? Like I said I'm not a mind reader also seeing how you don't know what "Context" is maybe should learn English better before you dip your toe into rhetorical devices.

Such creativity.
For your literal mind I'll explain: it's not about clothes. It's about concept.
So for creativity you complain they only changed a woman to a teenager but in your next sentence you complain they changed to concept so which is it did they change too much or too little.

That takes us back to the "literal mind" thing.
I just said it lasted for two years, how on Earth did you take that as "Modern Example". I wanna call you literal minded but to be literal minded you have to follow some sort of logic.

I am really curious to see what kind of dolls get produced for the new cartoon.
My hope Is that there will be both action figure and fashion figure versions.

The former for kids like I was growing up, and the latter for those who prefer something a little more in the Barbie-style.

That said, should this get cancelled due to poor toy sales it will literally be because toy companies don't know how to Market dolls to little girls.

Papagreg, Sumac, knock it off...

Jeezum, this is a thread about a cartoon. Nobody wants to flip through pages of political bickering.

The animation really does look like that cheap looking flash animation from the early 2000's. Hard to describe really, but I always dislike when animation looks like that. I understand these shows don't have a big budget, but I miss watching cartoons that looked heavily detailed and were nice to look at.

It looks definitely like it could be a very "important" series.

At this point, it seems unthinkable it would be anything else.
