As for the HD copies, they look great. I'm currently working on the blu-ray project, including custom animated menus, bonus features, chapters, etc. I am still looking for some hi-res artwork that I need.
Here are some screen grabs that I took. I just chose 1 random episode from each season. The screen grabs don't do the videos justice though. You really have to see them to appreciate how good they look, especially compared to the 480i dvd's released...not to mention that we didn't even get some of them on dvd at all (at least in the USA).

One thing I'm considering is removing the little "blurbs" that come up every time there would've been a commercial break (like this):

Do you guys think I should remove them or leave them in tact? They get kind of annoying after a while.

I'll gladly post pics as I make progress on the project (if you'd be interested). This isn't a posting to promote piracy, just sharing a pet project of mine.

Forgot to post a pic of Turtles Forever in HD (anamorphic widescreen, uncut):

Fantastic! I think you’d be good to remove the bumpers. If someone wanted to see them that bad they could just YouTube them. Definitely keep us updated on your project!

The-Shredder suggested I author the discs to have an option to watch with or without the bumpers. I think that's a good idea. I may go that route.

Be aware that talking about those kinds of sites or including links, etc. from them publicly is kind of a no-no around here.

Far as I'm aware it's mostly because this site tends to get TMNT owner/company-level lurkers who have that kind of power to make those demands. (On the plus side, that almost also means fan opinions of their work are also a bit more visible here.)

So in the early 2000's people were sharing links, downloads and files for the OT Fred Wolf series, the Technodrome got into some legal trouble/warning about this and since then there has been a strict enforcement of no pirating.

Indeed. As tragic as it is that the episodes after season 3 are unlikely to become legally available again, as a semi-professional musician, I'm fully aware of how many legal risks there are in the world of copyright, even if it's just for preservation purposes like what I'm about.
