Yeah... a second viewing of Deadpool, I found myself being far less kind. I'm not even sure why Deadpool hated Ajax/Francis. I mean, what for? He was just doing his job and saved Deadpool from cancer, same as Deadpool was promised. He had nothing to do with Deadpool's disfigurement... he had no idea that was going to happen, but even if he did... it was that, or death. You'd think Deadpool would be grateful, even.

He was torturing him well past the point of enhancing him that's why.

Was he? That all seemed like part of the process. It wasn't ever supposed to be pleasant.

I find the Deadpool movie appealing because it's charming. It's not the hottest, smartest, or even funniest story. But the character makes me happy to be around due to his irreverence and child-like, easily amused personality.

Yeah, but it wasn't like anyone ever tried to enforce that after he had his powers.

Francis tried to enforce it by mentally breaking him also its not like Deadpool is Captain America the dude is kinda petty and selfish the fact the Francis tortured him, robbed him of his looks, and wanted to make him a slave was reason enough to at least chop off a limb or two.

Torture was a necessary part of activating a mutation in Deadpool (i.e., his only chance at saving his own life)... and Deadpool was literally asking for it. And as they said, whatever his mutation would end up being -- if anything -- would be random. Francis had no way in the world of knowing that Deadpool's mutation would end up robbing him of his looks.

He was also doing the same thing to others. And they didn't all fare so well... DP was making sure that Ajax would never do that to anyone else, and getting personal revenge for everything that was done to him. (And Ajax DID try to kill hom when he tried to escape. Don't forget that.) You could say he was looking out for the little guys.

I had no idea Terry Crews was in this. Or if I did, I forgot.

That much more interested now.

Coming from the critics I watch the film while good is a bit disjointed compared to the last movie. Still personally going to watch this.

Yeah I'll agree with that, having seen it last night. Still plenty of laughs, action and a couple of nasty, nasty moments (such as the "legs" scene ) but not quite as fluid and coherent as the first film. You tell there were reshoots. And not enough Negasonic. But I loved Domino, even if she isn't ultra faithful to the comics.
