The hell...
Yeah, far as I understand it, the materials for the film's costumes did not age well (or hold up perfectly during filming for that matter), so no way those are from any film. Look a bit more rubbery than those from the movie anyhow. |

t want to make a new thread for a reference to TMNT in the most recent episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so I merged a bunch of old threads about TMNT references in other shows to maker a catch all...since I couldn't find a catch all already.
Here's a video I threw together of of the running gag...well...it was 2 instances in a double length episode...had me dying.

Catched a reference today on 2 Broke Girls:
Oleg: "Why do you hire Michelangelo and complain about him painting a masterpice?" Max: "Why do you had to drag the TMNT into this?" Was almost asleep when it came and it woke me up right away

I was watching Adam Ruins Everything, the episode on drugs, and they referenced the "I'm not a chicken, you're a turkey!" zinger from that old anti-drug PSA.

Workaholics referenced the Jose Canseco line from the first movie last night.
Also caught The Loud House while babysitting a couple weeks ago. It's about a boy with 10 sisters. In the episode "One of the Boys", he ends up in an alternate dimension where he has 10 Brothers instead. 4 of them are voiced by the Nickelodeon TMNT guys. |
