This game is a blast. Its just I cannot get through it all with the lives provided. How about infinite lives for infinite fun?

it mainly has to do with who you choose. i recommend splinter he has decent jumping, a cur lee maneuver that can effect multiple enemies and his main attack can take out foot soldiers in less hits. also for the bonus stages try for catching the pizzas from the cheap skate. you can get about three lives if your good.

I'd love to see this game get done in 16bit or something similar to the He-Man openBOR game that was released a year or so back.

Speaking as a tech fanatic and another Mac user, I can confirm that it works fine in Crossover, which is a commercial port of Wine. It might work in the free versions of Wine as well.

It is (roughly, probably, I didn't actually sit down and count) 16 bit though?

My limited experience with sprite editing is that NES sprites are far simpler and easier to update than their SNES/Genesis counterparts. Nelson did incorporate a number of Turtles in Time and Tournament Fighters assets into the game, but his preference for the Turtles were the NES games, and I think they are the best fit for the game he built.

Indeed, Story Mode should be complete in under 2 hours if you don't have to restart or use a Load Game to continue.

So how does saving work? The pause menu just brings exit game. If I exit the whole thing, i generally have to start back over at the training screen.

It saves automatically after each stage. After "Start Game" you should be able to choose between loading or starting a new one.
