Elias Koteas/Casey Jones Interview

Elias Koteas is one of my fav. actors, largely because of this role. It's as good as casting for Casey Jones as Chris Reeve's Superman casting was... Straight off the page! He rarely talks and interviews with him about Casey Jones are hard to find. Really enjoyed this.

He always seemed like a good egg.

Not gonna lie, other than Casey my favorite role of his was in "Some Kind Of Wonderful". There's so many 80s "teen" movies that exist and that's easily one of the best, but it doesn't get the respect it deserves, for some reason. Maybe because it starred Lea Thompson and not Molly Ringwald like all the others did? I think it's better than most of hers, though, frankly. And Koteas has a relatively small role but it's one of the most memorable characters in the entire movie, I love it.

Like I could see his character in that movie "growing up", growing out his hair and becoming Casey Jones, easily.
