Good luck with that. He's told myself and others he took on more than he should. In addition to that he's been having some health complications that had him in the hospital for a bit. I doubt he's going to want to add anything on to his already burdening list of commissions.

Sorry for making this thread open again without posting a piece of art. But, I just wanted to do a head count on who ordered and has received vs. who ordered and has not received.

I haven't yet received my art yet, but I'm being patient. I don't want to pester him, because I don't want him to feel rushed. He's one of the artists that when I was a kid I would look at his art, and think "I think the turtles are real"

HAHA, agreed. I asked for a con style sketch of Leo on a sketch cover. I also asked for a drawing of whatever character he felt like drawing...I think he might be doing a triceraton, which is totally fine by me.

Powder, I already know though that once I see yours, I'm going to regret my decision, haha.

I haven't corresponded in a matter of months, but last time I checked in mine was supposedly going to be the next one he drew.

Not really an update, and I am NOT a FB stalker, but I just stumbled on this bit of info.

I noticed there is a local small comic show (Bing Con) this Aug in Springfield MA. I clicked on theie FB page to get some more info. https://www.facebook.com/events/623413187686420/

As I read the past posts trying to figure out who is going to be at this thing...I noticed that on Saturday A.C. Farley posted that he will be attending. I suddenly got excited because I know he is pretty much out of the business and I would love to get some stuff signed...after going through a few more posts I saw this from Mr. Farley

"Hey I clicked join in the e-mail I received but I may or may not be able to go. So tentatively, I want to go, but if I don't have any work by then, I'll be living in my car somewhere instead."

Seems like times are tough if a table fee at a tiny con is too much $....the promoter commented that they are booked anyways....anyways...just thought it was interesting

It's very unfortunate to hear he's fallen on such hard times. I understand he was having some health issues, it may very well be medical issues bringing him down. Either way, I don't possibly see how he could take on much more work given how many commissions piled up, but I suppose it's not my place to have an opinion on that... Either way I'm wishing us ALL the best.
