So, an adaption close to mirage aimed at teens. How reliable is the source, those who are familiar with it?
I'll wait and see what turns up, given there has been talk already about a live action show, but maybe there was an idea bouncing around which cased that. Guess we'll see if something more comes out or not. |

So this is just a rumor and not a confirmation on anything. Fake news title.

We Got This Covered is known for throwing loads of **** at the wall and then claiming they scooped it if something does stick. They did it earlier this year with Crisis on Infinite Earths guest stars, they do it with Disney remakes around the time of each remakes release. So it’s no surprise to see this after the Netflix Nickelodeon deal this week.
That said, Kevin Eastman did allude to something like this being possible during an SDCC interview with Kevin Eastman this summer so maybe? I’m going to wait for a reliable source before getting excited but I would love a more adult targeting live action TMNT series and it could help Netflix fill the gap left by the Marvel shows. It will be more teen targeted than those obviously, but a live action show for adults/the now teens who grew up on 2K12 show would be awesome and a nice counter balance to Rise. |

As soon as you see clickbait headlines along the right side bar or down at the bottom of any website, you know you are at a chum site. Don't give sites like that traffic at all.

Beyond that, it's totally cool that you posted the info! If it was true, I think TMNT could do very well on Netflix - especially if Nicktoons would have difficulty floating their own streaming service like Disney+. |

Would be awesome if it was ever true, but does still sound like a long shot and too conveniently like what Eastman had said. Won't get my hopes up unless there is a solid leak about anything of that nature.
Sounds more like a mashup of Eastman's comment and the fact that Netflix really is doing a 'Rise' movie. |

Any new TMNT TV show or movie, right at the start, before any sort of pre-production has taken place, they ALWAYS say something like "the tone will be dark" or "the tone will be similar to the original comics".
They never are. It's BS to try and get the fans on-board/interested. Of course the only version that got anywhere close was the 1990 movie.
