My local Target is clearancing Incredibles and Minions stuff. My guess is that's where TMNT toys will be stocked.

Also my Walmart has sold out of most of the first wave save for some extra Leo, Raph, one Draxum, and two Meat Sweats.

My Target apparently got MORE Incredibles stuff recently. These stores clearly don't communicate.

In addition to the storage shell basics, what else could work in a second wave?

I’d like:

* Jessica (just to get some more good guy figures)
* Ghostbear
* Hypno-Potamus (with Warren Stone included)
* Big Mama
* Wrestling variants
* Foot Lieutenant and Brute
* Albeardo

Off the top of my head, I'd like:

- Foot Brute
- Todd
- Repo Mantis
- Unicorn Onesie Leo.
- Warren Stone (both big and small)
- Hypno Potamus
- Hippo Disguise Raph
- Albearto

While it as part of the departure of who Leo normally is annoys me (seriously, a unicorn onesie on the poor guy is a lot funnier if it's done against his will lol), it's still funny enough that this might totally be a variant I'd be interested in checking out. That is a figure that would only ever happen once.

Most of those are good choices, but...

* With the Unicorn Leo and Hippo Raph, I’d wait for Don, Mikey, and maybe a villain to gain similar suits to make a complete set.
* I can’t imagine Todd translating to a major action figure release. His big head and overall “square” design are the nails in the coffin. I can’t see the big head translating well, making him lean over on his tiny and hard to articulate body. His lack of combat ability is another actor hurting his chances. Maybe as a mini figure with another character, but no single carded toy. I can’t even imagine an action feature to justify that release.
* I was initially opposed to Warren sold on his own, but I guess the big form, which you can crack open to reveal the small one, would be a fun toy.

I’d imagine Ghostbear, F. Lieutenant, and Jessica are in wave III.

I have to say, I was not planning on getting any of the figures except April and the vehicles. But I enjoyed the first episode and the clips I've seen I loved as well. So now I want all of them. Sigh

If you look at the insert, you will see the Foot Lieutenant in the Sewer Lair. I REALLY hope they stick with including smaller characters (a throwback to the original toy line). I never stopped wanting Klunk from 2k3 and Ice Cream Kitty and Chompy from the Nick show. It would be a great way to get Warren Stone.

Other characters they could be working on:
Foot Brute
Albearto
Hypnopotomus (could come with Warren?)
Ghost Bear
Repo Mantis

And, one long shot that we might never see:
Todd (with puppies?)

Big Mama is the only announced big baddie who hasn't appeared on the show yet.

Any clue when Playmates will announce more? I need something to look forward to!

Oh yes, that definitely needs to be a thing.

Hippo head obviously needs to be removable or be a separate head option for Raph, but on the same note I also request a second head option for Leo... cheery/funny by default in the packaging, but also please a second pouty/grumpy face and enough articulation so he can sit there and pout about it.

Add in the rest and, providing they didn't make the designs stupid looking, I might get that set in a heartbeat. lol

I've seen all of these out at retail now between various places, but haven't bought them yet. Quality control is definitely an issue on the new Rise line right out the gate, more so than I remember it being on the 2012 line. Practically all the figs I've looked at up close have had extremely sloppy paint apps, which is ridiculous when paint on them is already so sparse and limited for the most part lol. Maybe I've just seen several bad batches between stores. I definitely intend to get everything out so far, but I'm picky and hate buying crappy looking toys for today's average asking prices.

yeah they are cheap with the paint and now they are getting sloppy? do they even really care anymore?

on that note the set that i have does seem pretty decent for me at least

Doe anybody here have the basic leonardo and deluxe flipping leo? The deluxe figures head sculpt look better imo. I was wondering if the deluxe head fits in the basic body.

That's a shame, and those are too weirdly proportioned for my taste and agree the head sculpt (and paint) on the basic isn't that great.

Particularly I think it's the eye paint that bugs me, they're just so big with such big pupils that he kind of looks like he's on something... Looks better on the deluxe.

They're really gonna have to come out with one that's super cute to even tempt me to buy any more of this line. But, I guess thanks for saving me money.

Has anyone run into purchasing the figures but not getting the little Pizza Points slip inside? I think each figure is supposed to have one, picked up 4, and only one of them had the voucher.

Did they have the Pizza Points Sticker on the blister?

Yeah, I'm not impressed with the Turtle basics and I'm not going to buy the 12 inch figures when I don't collect figures of that scale. I already have a large battle shell Leo from 2012 that I have no idea to do with

But if they shrink the 12 inch figures to basic size and have the right paint apps, I'll buy them in a frenzy.

or wait for someone else to make Rise figures, fingers crossed for Revoltech
