Awesome, more Null!
She's been pretty underused a this point, and she really needs more development, so seeing her in this mini arc is good news.

Spoiler:

awesome!
glad we're getting more time with Man Ray.
he's definitely one of my favorite Mutanimals coming close to Hob.

also good that we're finally catching back up with Null.
she's been out of the picture way too long.

Looks like we're getting a lot of random/one-shot mutants this arc?

Whoa! Is this a super-early preview or did #11's release date get bumped up?

In any case ,this looks to be a very cool standalone issue. I guess those are Null's enforcers mentioned in the solicit

This is interesting, temporary mutation? I don't think we've ever seen that before... I mean aside from Carmelo Anthony.

Well according to Doom, Mars is the number 1 vacation destination for demons. You can consume the flesh of mortals, get cybernetic enhancements and the portal back home to hell is always near. Great times!

In all seriousness, alien resources are a likely explaination.

I was having a pretty crummy day so this got a well needed chuckle out of me.

I'd really prefer if Null's arc, whatever it is, happens in Universe over the main ongoing. Not only because it would free up space for different story arcs in the main series, but I feel she works better as a side villain to all the main stuff coming up with Bishop, Krang/Dimension X, and the Pantheon.

Is this given a preview three weeks in advanced? I thought it was supposed to be released on June 21st.

This is what I was wondering. I didn't even look at the preview bc I was shocked at even seeing the preview

So can we assume Bebop and Rocksteady were early experiments for those mercenary guys?

I don't see how they'd be connected. They were mutated at Karai's behest, and the Shorai Research Group (I guess a Null front/subsidiary) seemed to already know what they were doing.

I figured that making seemingly temporary mutations would be more valuable than permanent ones, since nobody in their right mind would want to remain a monster for the rest of their lives. So, Bebop and Rocksteady might have been mutated using an earlier method.

"Nobody in their right mind" and "Bebop and Rocksteady" does not compute.

Still, I get the point. That merc transforming was a real "Woah!" moment for me (followed by "I don't get it, is that Dreadmon?" followed by "Oh... Oh! Oh crap..." in quick succession), if anything the temporary mutations make for an even more freakish end product. The choice of animal didn't help either.

These are the guys Bishop should be hunting down!

But wait a minute...if Null is able to undo mutations, think about what that would mean for later storylines. Retromutagens have never been brought up until now.

And now that they have, wouldn't Bishop want them?
Shouldn't they be a threat to the turtles (and Mutanimals) immediately?
How did she get figure out Retromutagen?
Where did she get the Ooze to do it?
Would Retromutagen further contaminate said Ooze that the Utroms need to survive?

Screw what happens to Krang in the Trial storyline, this is the shakeup that will change everything.
