Many thanks BT02. You're quite right about it not being a picnic. Otherwise I'm laying off of doing any real heavy lifting and letting my shoulder muscle mend itself. That's the best thing to do.

Got a new rare treasure: a TMNT 2k3 VHS! It's called "Search For Splinter".

Oh yeah, and a Michael Jackson record too.

Hahaha, we don't have a Krispy Kreme where we live so we'll have to pass on the freebies. My dad got those from a co-worker that goes into Austin a lot and she bought him a couple boxes. Of course, when my diabetic father comes in with two dozen Krispy Kremes, the first thing I do is yell "WHAT PART OF DIABETES DON'T YOU GET?"

I'm so proud of my Layton plushies. Got more Layton stuff coming in soon.

Yesterday I was going through a bunch of old stuff and came across an old sketch book my mom had passed on to me long ago that she'd had in school (but had barely used).

I had picked it up now and then between the ages of 10 and 16. Some of it is simple attempts at some kind of drawing skills, others are basically the sketches, doodles, and ramblings in tribute of things or people that meant a lot to me at various points in time. (The people mostly being now former crushes from school. lol)

Among the pages is a little bit of TMNT fan art drawn over 21 years ago at the age of 14. While I've never possessed the kind of drawing skills I wish I had, one of the pieces in particular is kind of adorable, so that made me smile.

I'm in the elevator with some dudes on my way to my dorm...one of them, smiling, asks me: "Ey man, you smoke weed?" I reply with "Not recently", and he proceeds to offer me $10 for some of my pee. Apparently a friend of his is getting drug tested soon. I didn't take that offer, but damn, I'm so broke right now that I might as well have.

This just happened, by the way. And it was absolutely hilarious.
