Only thing I can think up....lots of weirdness out there online more than usual. one guys personality did a complete 180 flip, and this time it's not SJW nonsense. first time in 4 years I thought this guy was not only rude, but evasionary, defensive and insulting.

all 6 people I know connected willing to talk about certain issue, except on person, who, as far as I know, isn't even in charge of where this issue takes place.

VERY VERY weird.

Benefits on this area of Ohio:
Being near one of the last active drive-in theaters, and potentially going to it multiple times finally.

I get to talk about my project tomorrow. But, at least I know that my professor likes what I brought in. *It's currently hanging on the wall in my classroom.*

Currently, I have other thoughts ATM.. what to do with the kitties (as in if they should stay with me, or go to another home), and the eventual outcome of scheduling a vet appointment / surgery for my older cat. Two tumors = $$$.

Also, Final Exams & finding another job.

Whooo... good times.

The museum I'm working in this summer comes from a town with comical levels of petty. Pushing Montague and Capulet levels of petty.

Spoiler:
This is what the information sheet says:

"Today, it appears as though Baltimore has two town squares. In fact, prior to 1947, there were two villages, Baltimore and Basil. From the very early days of establishment, two villages have existed and two villages have been divided.

Baltimore was first known as New Market (1824) south of the canal, and Rome (1825) north of the canal. The towns combined in 1833. Basil was first settled in 1825. Settlers came largely from Switzerland, whereas the Baltimore settlers were predominantly German. Each village was self-sufficient. Each boasted a grocery store and hardware store, funeral parlor, doctor’s office, fire department, town council, etc. Not wanting anything to do with each other, the bridge separating the two villages became and area to throw rocks and taunts. Even the mail delivery suffered ridicule until the 1830’s!

Each village experienced growth, especially in the canal times.
In 1889, there was a great need for additional housing. The first attempt to truly unite the villages was in 1917. The United School opened to support both villagesand it sate equally on dvided land from both Baltimore and Basil. Even the principle’s desk is said to have been positioned so that one half sat in Basil and the other in Baltimore.

In 1947, the annexation of Basil to Baltimore truly tested the fueding villages. Highlighted here in the newspaper, you can see that hard feelings were prevalent. Petitions were signed stating that once the merger was complete, a new town name awas to be selected. Instead, judge Parker ruled that thw two towns would carry the name Baltimore, and the Basil residents lost their address.

Today, many businesses and local landmarks still pay homage to days gone by and include Basil or “twin city” within their names."

Too cold... too cold... too cold... why won't it just do Spring and be warmer?

OH. Now we're doing 90°.

What the hell. Remember when Spring used to exist?

Meanwhile, in Texas.... Spring finally came and went this week. Next week- Summer! Jk. But spring only lasts about three or four weeks, usually raining about half that time. Then we get six months of Summer.

Hey, at least Texas trees already have their in. My cousin and I are watching for the green explosion while we're on our commute to the museum.

It's starting. But might be a day or two.

Most of the trees around here have finally caught on. The cherries apparently didn't care that it was still chilly for so long and weren't all that late, while many others slept in and are finally figuring it out now.

Of course, this sudden shift in temps might just put them into shock instead.

Less than a week ago we were cold and put the heat on after getting heating oil. (We'd run out and hating this lingering chilly weather...) Sunday night supposedly was to hit the 30s. And now it's hitting 90 in the afternoon...

So basically March lasted for two months and now we jumped straight into July. Figures.

People can doubt affects of "climate change" all they want, but this that has been happening a number of years now did not used to be normal. We were always around the 70s at most for the most part in May in this area. Now for the last several years May is hitting temps that were always more normal for August. Pretty sure DE is still located in the Mid-Atlantic, not the deep south.

lol Look, I know it's little and mostly ignored, but it is a state.

I dunno, being low on bs sounds like a good thing.
