Hello to you too, Raven!

Okay, since you asked so nicely, I'll post a drawing of mine. And to keep it relevent with the other stuff I posted, here's a drawing of the lovely hero Synthia.

I'll definetly be posting more artworks over time. Count on it.

OMG Ryona! I've missed having you around here so much. Now this place feels like home again. BTW, your sprite work looks amazing--practically looks like a lost Game Boy Color game.

Welcome back home!

Hey there, TMB! You perverted bastard you!
That's a really cute title. I like it.

I've missed ya too, babe. You've always been real good to me. It's nice to be missed.

I was certain you'd get a real kick out of my sprite work since you're huge on videogames.

Okay, so I know that the graphics are awfully small to be viewed, so I decided to post this. It's nothing new. Just a full zoom on how big the game screen will actually be when you're playing it.

Wow... I honestly didn't think we'd see you here again, Ryona.

I remember seeing your artwork back then. You've grown so much in your abilities doing these game characters. I absolutely love the lil turtles and Splinter. You raise the bar over and over again with your pixel art. I'd definitely like to see how far you can go with this stuff...

I wasn't going to because it's not TMNT-related, but for the sake of giving the public more pixel-art goodness, here's my other videogame project I'm working on.

This one I'm deliberantly trying to make it look like a legitimate classic Gameboy game, right down to the screen resolution and its meek four-tone graphics.
Plus every object in the game is made with three or less tones (the fourth tone being used as the transparency around the object).

The inspiration behind this game came from a classic Gameboy game titled 'Ninja Gaiden Shadow'. Possibly my most favorite GB game.

The story takes place in the near future in a new city built on a man-made island which is owned by a powerful criminal who will be the antagonist of our hero.

The protagonist is an impressively skilled and powerful woman-ninja who fights to free the city and its inhabitants from constant harm.

Her name is Synthia, and I've deliberantly designed her appearance for sex-appeal because it's just fun. So sue me. lol
No doubt will her eye-candy appearance be adored by many fanboys and fangirls in the near future when this game becomes big *crosses fingers*.

Anyway, enough blah, blah, blah from me. Let me know what you all think of this project too.

Golly, I remember these, and they sure are fun! I too, enjoyed Ninja Gaiden Shadow. But didn't you show me some other GB sprites some time ago, or am I just an idiot?

Aw, thank you, Machias.
I'll post some more pixel-goodies soon enough.

For now, here's a quick sketch I just did right now of Synthia which I decided to post here for anyone who cares. lol

You're probably just being an idiot. lol
Seriously though, I don't have any other GB projects other than this ninja game.

If you ever need music, don't hesitate to ask. I'm sure I can come up with a few tunes.

What program or programming language are you using for your game(s)? I use Game Maker, because I didn't really have the time or patience to learn C++ - although it's not exactly easy to use GM either.

I'm going to be using Game Maker. Can't be too difficult. And if I have problems, I can go to the Game Maker forums for help.

Here's a new drawing of Synthia I made tonight.
Got plans on coloring it soon enough.

And yeah, I've noticed you all like the cut scenes. haha

I am SOOO impressed! These are F'n so cool! Because I am new to this topic (and have this problem with back reading posts) I wanted to ask what how, when, and where we will be able to play this someday?

Also this is a question I have always wanted to know. And game people like yourself can probably tell me how it works. I have always wanted to know how people designed early video games like for NES and such? Did they have some sort of programing interface? Like how could they 'see' what they were working on as they designed?

If you can find someone who's got brain cells or isn't a jerk. I'll admit I haven't been there in a while myself, but normally whenever I've asked for help, the only replies I've gotten were from idiots that say something to the effect of "Oh, I need help on this too!", or some elitist saying "That's been answered before. Go look for it yourself."

So does pudding.

And if you add that with the Scene 5 picture of Synthia, the pudding is not gonna be the only thing that pops.

Are you suggesting that Ryona get Bill Cosby to promote her game?

If it won't get me killed.

Besides, if Quentin Tarantino can promote Hostel II, anything's possible.

I think actually Wotaken would be a better choice to promote the games
