well, i'm hoping the best for the nick turtles
my kid got hooked and he's 6, though he seems to like the original cartoon even more (go figure, out of 12 nick episodes i have shown him 3 seasons of classic XD)

I'm glad the toy line is doing so well. Even though ratings are crucial to the success of a show, good income from merchandising is also a major factor.

I just wish Nick would show the turtles more often.

I thought they were, or at least the animated ones anyway, and if no one likes them than why do they keep making them?

Have you seen the recent Green Lantern animated series on Cartoon Network? I think it's pretty great.

I think he's speaking matter-of-factly, considering he IS a kid and would know what his friends are watching.

I have been addicted to this series lately. Can't stop watching it or stop listening to the theme song (which I got from iTunes). I might get bashed for this, but I'm really like the 2012 series a lot more than the 2003 series.

Why would you get bashed? I also like the 2012 series more than the 2003 series. Don't get me wrong, the 2003 series was great! I just like this one more.

Its a great show, but I'd rather see the entire first season and then compare it to the old shows first.

I just hope the show keeps up a consistent quality and doesn't get too repetitive or decline in writing as it goes on.

I agree. I like the balance between the comedy and the seriousness.

Thanks. those ratings are for friday, and since the show normally does not premier on a friday night the lower numbers shouldn't be read into too deeply. but we all knew this already right ^__^

Not that I feel ratings mean much in today's market anyway, particularly for a merchandise-oriented cartoon show, but it certainly does not hurt to see it ranking well)

I hope a lot higher. BTW are these above or below average for a Nicktoon?

Apparently Disney started a movie at 6:30, so that took a chunk of viewers.

Well, it depends. Some shows like Spongebob will get high ratings, but others (like Fanboy and Chum Chum...) will get such low ratings that Nickelodeon will rarely ever air the show.

Does Spongebob get typically better or worse ratings than TMNT?
