Nickelodeon will be airing the "blockbuster hit" first PD film on their channel.

I don't think it deserves to be called a "film".
I'll allow "movie", I guess. |

So Nick left that cringy "shell tightening" joke in place. Nor did they edit or censor Raph saying, "We're getting out asses kicked" during the Shredder fight. Surprised they allowed those, but maybe they figured the kids are already familiar with it, so why bother?
The ONLY thing I noticed was missing...Eric Sack's saying "Even if it kills them" after the drain all of their blood line. lol (Why didn't they save air time and just take out half of the boring, mostly pointless human-only junk? Reminded me why I started fast forwarding through it.) Maybe it's editing's fault (and the normal film cut, not cut for tv), but I just have to say though that this so-called April is kind of rude. Toward the end when the Turtles pull up in their tiny van and she's all, "What are you guys doing here?" Leo of course leans out the passenger side saying, "We thought we owed you a thanks. For keeping our secret." No acknowledgement at all that he even said anything, she just blows right past him to go talk to Raph and Mikey. Well that's gratitude for ya. Poor guy. So cold compared to how Judith Hoag's April would have interacted more warmly with them... I feel for you PD Turtles, you live in a cold, cruel world, but I guess that's "more realistic." |
