But, really, the only difference between the 6" NECA figures and the 6" Playmobil figures is that nobody asked for 6" Playmobil figures. They're both articulated and accessorized. They're both stylized interpretation of the Fred Wolf Turtles. They both have the Nickelodeon-approved, non-vintage TMNT logo. The Playmobil figures are at Target in the Funko Crap section, so all NECA needed to do was not sell these 'collectible' figures in the same 'action' figure aisle as Playmates.

Another key difference is that Funko has far more aggressive - and thus far more successful - retail and marketing teams than NECA does. So Funko can get crap on a stick 'specialty' items into every store in the world through persistence. And - I hate to say this - but NECA's collectibles catalog as a whole is just so much worse than Funko's. NECA has product problems that no marketing team can fix. In a wireless world who the **** asks for Scalers? HUBSNAPS are just more annoying pogs in a post-pog world. This is why we can't have nice things at retail. Playmates is a significant part of how TMNT plays out at retail, but NECA needs better product overall and far more retail tenacity when they do get better product.

No, it was definitely early. I could add to cart while my computer was at :58, and sold out by :02.

They sold out in like 1 minute today! If you check out using the paypal option is way quicker so try that tomorrow if you can.

Sorry, don't agree with you. checked the clock on my system and it's perfectly in sync. I was F5ing and it didn't show as in stock till 10am, not 9:58

anyways doesn't matter anyone who wants one should be checking early anyway

I recommend using credit card... you can have your web browser have it auto fill it when you go to check out, then you just have to enter the 3 digit code and that's it. Chrome can do this.

I bet they only had around 500 or so today because that doesn't seem possible unless scalpers know of this product and are in ready mode.
