Just wanted to know, are the Playmates comic turtles being stocked anywhere in the UK?

As in the Mirage-based ones from a couple of years ago?

Other than the Leo in the Tesco 3-pack, these never hit retail here. Saw them a couple of times at comic shops, but they were way overpriced for poorly-sculpted, badly painted lumps of plastic (especially considering what I paid for the NECA figure when they came out).

Anyone in the UK got hold of either of the 18" NECA figures yet? If so, where from and how much?

I want to get Raph and Leo, but don't want to pay essentially double the price.

I'm prepared to pay retail with extra shipping but don't think it's fair that UK fans should have to pay wayyy over the odds to get brand new figures like these.

Local Asda has the wave 2 Mega Bloks blind bags for £1 each. Already picked up series 3 in America last year so now the long wait for series 4 begins LOL

Bumping this. Anyone in the UK got any of these latest NECA offerings, and if so, where from and how much?

Thanks.

just grabbed Human Karai off the TRU site. I hadnt had any luck with Super Shredder out here other than at MCM Birmingham last weekend and the seller was asking 20 for it so I passed on him, he's back up on amazon again for pre order for 9.99 so I grabbed that as well.

Thanks.
I have both, Donatello from calendars.com cost about £86 shipped and then £33 from customs. Raphael from Neca ebay was a bit more expensive with International shipping program but I didn't know if calendars.com would come through a second time!

Does anyone know if the secret of the ooze classics are coming over here? And if so, who is/will be stocking them?

Is there a new, updated Shellraiser? I found this on the TRU website and some of the photos seem to have new stickers as well as a removable window of the van http://http://www.toysrus.co.uk/mobile/toys/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-2-shellraiser-with-leonardo-figure/TRUP314930001

Yeah,
I think they have added somemore bells and whistles to it a grapnel/missile launcher i think.
New colours and stickers too though no worthwhile things like seats inside for figures etc...

Yeah, that's good, Mikey. I don't even trust you with a driver's license.

Is anyone else noticing Smyths have given up on the turtles line? The shelf space is cut down to about an 1/4 of what it was about a year ago. Aswell as this my local are only stocking about 4 basic figures and loads of HSH and the giant Leo playset.

Same with my local, I do wonder if this generation of Turtles are on there way out as a lot of the kids that would have watched in the beginning are nearly teenagers now, I know my nephew has lost interest now he is at secondary school.

They announced months ago that the current season would be the last & that a new series would be out next year. So, wonder no more.
