This rollout is irritating. Have the figures even come to actual stores yet or not? All I've heard is some scalpers in California have gotten them, maybe. Given I don't have a car it's a real pain in the ass to go all these places only to find out it's uncertain they're even in stores.

Is the problem really with NECA? Aren't the problems people are having with distribution due to licensing restrictions? These releases are easy enough to get in Australia where they don't have the same restrictions. Given three years ago they could only do cons, I think we've come a long way.

I wouldn't get too hung up on not getting this Casey. The figure isn't actually that good. His hand broke on my first attempt to pull the peg out. His knees aren't double jointed, legs have limited movement, and limited adjustability at the ankle. He's a difficult figure to pose. Plus, we'll get that unmasked version eventually, right?

If Raph and Casey were this hard to get, then Tokka et al will be equally difficult to get. Kind of sucks, but I'm done messing around with it. Didn't try yesterday--they lost me last summer with the Splinter/Foot set. Wasted time and got frustrated 3 days in a row and decided from there on out that it wasn't worth the frustration or time.

I preordered the toon figures though Zavvi--they cost a little more, but it was a simple and painless process.

I have done some checking. The cost on Zavvi for Casey and Raph is actually pretty close to the cost at walmart.com. Certainly way better than scalper prices.

Wait, they have Raph/Casey? I didn't see it listed.

But generally I agree, and that's why I've just paid the extra $5-$10 a figure and ordered everything so far through Zavvi.

Just a bit worried because the people that could order from Walmart at least have an estimate date.
I have only purchased three exclusives from Neca and this is by far the most stressful.

Also they cancelled an order once without explanation and I haven't had a good experience with their customer service (or lack of to be more precise, no answer at all) I may end up bitting the bullet if they make a second release with Mr Elias Koteas likeness but still.

Hmmmm as soon as the Casey 2-pack is released, Koteas gave his permission.

So eventually he will be released again with unmasked head or removable mask on one head.

I've really only followed Neca when it comes to TMNT but was anyone expecting a better sculpt for Casey? The mask and some of the clothing look great, but maybe I expected the joints to be less noticeable or a more dynamic sculpt. Could just be my expectations aren't in check.

I'm with you man. I'm certainly not impressed, the elbowjoints are just horrible and it is a bit simple for me. Only the accessoires are very good imo but the golf club is a bit thin. Toy Bro already uploaded a review on YouTube.

Would be nice if the 1/4 version has real hair instead of a plastic sculpt.
