Where were you born: Denton, Texas. I've lived in this state my entire life, and never moved more than 80 miles from where I was born.

Favorite time of day: Late night (after midnight). It's when I do my best writing.

Fave actor/actress: Robin Williams, and Sally Fields I love Robin in EVERYTHING (except Popeye- that was gods-awful) and to this day the movie Eye for an eye still wigs me out, and she was great in that.

Fave musician: Meat Loaf. Love all his stuff!

If crime was legal for a day: I'd arrange an "accident" for my step-dad, and maybe steal a year's worth of insulin for my other half- that stuff is so expensive they're basically robbing YOU!!

The best invention: The printing press. It was for its time what the internet is for us now. And without it, so much of our world's knowledge would be locked away from the common man.

Nah, there's plenty to enjoy in Vegas. Lots of shows, the Fremont Street Experience, the Adventuredome, the Stratosphere [which has a really nice restaurant called Top of the World; it's expensive as **** but you're watching the entire city scroll around you from the top of the tower!] and so many really cool places to spend your money in general.

This is news to me...I was always under the impression that I'd be bored to death if I went there with no intention of gambling. ....how are the roller coasters?

Depends on which one! Anything at the Adventuredome is pretty fun, but the one at Buffalo Bills sucks ass!

I liked the coasters. There is (or used to be) one on top if the stratosphere, which is a super tall building. And there's one that goes through New York New York that was neat.

Also there's a big arcade in the Luxor that was fun. And sometimes there are TV show pilots screened there you can go watch and fill surveys on.

So many things to see and do.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the one atop the Stratosphere, I think I've only been on it a couple times. Never been on the New York New York's.

Isn't Las Vegas essentially a normal big city that just happens to have a long strip full of casinos?

I wouldn't be surprised if the locals avoided the strip. There's a rumor that says that Romans don't bother looking at the Coliseum and whenever someone does that means that person is a tourist.

I wouldn't have visited any monument or museum in my city if it wasn't for school either.
