Screenplay Writer & Novelist William Goldman passes away at 87
Wrote the screenplays for several favorites such as The Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, All The President's Men, The Stepford Wives, Marathon Man, Misery, A Few Good Men, Chaplin (1992), Last Action Hero, Extreme Measures, The Chamber, A Bridge Too Far, & many others, also wrote the novels some were based on, won 2 Academy Awards. Also did some theater work, including Blood, Sweat & Stanley Poole along with his also late brother James Goldman. Enjoy heaven, William Goldman, and thank you for your contributions to my childhood entertainment.
