This was a rough one, but hey, I gotta go with Splinter. What can I say, I have a soft spot for the furry guy.

I voted for the mutants....For Mona Lisa’s sake
Second would have been Karai, she's awesome! If the 80's Casey never existed, I would have said him

If I had to choose one, I'd go with Splinter. I really liked him in the first movie.

Obviously for me it's April O'Neil. Even though it seems like fans don't seem to respect her as much due to her either being a damsel, being just a "drawing", or just someone who has a run-of-the-mill job, there is a lot of depth in her even in the OT who actually is a vital help in a few battles and is a good role model in terms of being a good professional person and having good manners. Most importantly, she provides the human element in the action and in more recent adaptions, can be a valuable tool that shows someone who has a lot of guts, and Nickelodeon is trying to affirm that position.

Donnie, you do realize its like picking between your kids, right? Shredder is my answer becaise of the '87 cartoon and two movies. He is my favorite villian of all-time.He is fun,an in depth character, and threatening all the while!Plus I think of April,Splinter, and Shredder as the rest of the primary characters. My second choice would have gone to The Rat King.

I had to vote for Casey. Of all the characters in comic books he is the one I think it would be easiest to emulate in real life. I love that he doesn't have some deeper seeded agenda for fighting crime, he just goes out and does it because he's bored and likes action films (granted I'm basing that off of "Me, Myself, and I").

This was a tough call because I really adore the turtles' friends and Splinter. I also like the bad guys. Heh, I could probably rattle on about most characters on the list.
Who did I choose? Karai. I'm familiar with the 2k3 version. She's just so complicated and messed up and interesting and tragic and SO MANY THINGS. She gets a lot of fleck and that's partly why I took a shine to her. She's not bad but not good and ARGH. There are just so many parallels between her and Leo. I'm fully aware she does terrible things as well as good things but I can't hate her! I do want to shake her sometimes even though she's fictional. |
