Hey Shark, go by Wal-Mart and pick up the entire series for $20. Its a good investment.

There will be a panel at this year's Comic-Con.

Quote:
Hey Arnold!: From Hillwood to the Jungle!

Take a trip back to Hillwood as voice actors from the classic series — Lane Toran (Arnold), Jamil Walker Smith (Gerald), Francesca Marie Smith (Helga), and Anndi McAfee (Phoebe) — join some of the newer voice actors (Mason Vale Cotton as Arnold, and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores Jr. as Gerald) to discuss the show, and present footage from the upcoming TV movie once again created by original creator Craig Bartlett. Also appearing will be composer Jim Lang, who’ll be gracing those in attendance with a live musical performance.

Hillwood, huh? I always thought it was New York City as I don't recall it ever being said otherwise. Is there a date announced yet?

Craig Bartlett talks about the new designs, reveals the characters are moving into the sixth grade, and teases a scene from the movie

What happened to the fifth grade? The original concept had Arnold and his classmates in fifth still taught by Mr. Simmons.

I don't care what grade he's in, as long they wrap up the unrequited love thingy that's been going on forever.

This made me smile from start to finish. I liked how they reflected on all of the things that he has done over the years. Plus, it was smart of the writers to have the video they created as part of an entry to the contest. It showed Coach Wittenberg with both his wife and son for the first time. His son was only shown in one episode, even though it wasn't one of my favorites, but he disappeared after that. I don't even think they showed him at his parents' second wedding.

It did a nice job of summing up much of the series. I noticed the Android phone Rhonda was using. It made me think, Big Bob's Beepers is way out dated. Would he be running a Sprint store or something of that variety?

Am I the only one who thinks Helga being revealed as the one responsible for the Arnold tribute should have been saved for the third act? Especially if this movie ties up Arnold and Helga's long running love story?

You'd think ensuring Arnold has the opportunity to meet his parents again would earn her more than a pat on the shoulder.

Hell, in some of the classic episodes, Arnold would embrace her for doing nice things for him [like when she got him his hat back], I guess maybe he's still unsure about her since she came on too strongly in the first movie

Wow, so much cheese. lol Looks interesting either way. So, everyone entered that contest for the sake of Arnold finding his parents or is the parent thing going to conveniently tie into the story because they're coincidentally going to wherever it was?

That aside, the only thing I disliked was Rhonda with the more modern looking phone. I do remember her having one in the original series, but I would hope that they would try to make the film more timeless or not too updated.

Out of the redesigns, I like Phoebe's most. Wonder if they'll hint at the Gerald x Phoebe stuff.

Kind of odd too considering Helga mentioned that it was the 20th century in the Pigeon Man episode. I know this movie takes place two years after the original series, meaning this movie would have to take place in 2001 at the latest so seeing a modern cell phone is a little odd. I wonder if their going to update "Big Bob's Beepers" or has he still lost 51% of the company from the movie?

Or maybe I'm thinking way to hard about all this.

Eh, it wasn't that bad. It wasn't that good, but it wasn't that bad either.

Keep in mind, the first movie was never meant to be theatrical, it was going to just be a tv special but Nick pushed it into cinemas. It's failure is what led to the Jungle Movie being scrapped and kept Craig away from the network for a decade.

Yeah, I know. It really felt like it was meant for TV.

Edit: Oh, and yeah I agree about the reveal being left until later in the film. I could see him hugging her in gratitude realizing that if it weren't for her, that he would've never reunited with his parents.

That aside, so excited for this!

So, seems the airdate will be November 23. Also, does anyone know if there's another link for the extended teaser?
