And look at the trailers. This is what they're leading with. Imagine if ratings slump and they get, like, a season 2 with an even lower budget. Yikes. "Lockjaw went away to college!" or something. Oh, almost certainly.

Or maybe something not so dark. Maybe he just went to Obedience/Teleporter Repair School.

Apparently that new trailer, they fixed Medusa's hair
https://www.comicbookmovie.com/inhum...ogress-a153343 Seems like Marvel is aware on how crappy the CGI looks, that they are doing everything they can to fix it. Last edited by TigerClaw; 08-18-2017 at 06:14 PM. |

Looks like IMAX has decided to shorten the theatrical run of the 1st two episodes, to just 1 week instead of 2 weeks.

Wait... so Medusa gets her head shaved? Jee, I wonder why they'd do that...

Apparently 105% of the Inhumans budget was for camera, and the producers tossed their couch cushions looking for spare quarters to buy the cheapest CGI they could find?

I really hope Marvel avoids using Buck in the future after this.

I saw one review say that they didn't even bother to remove an episode break halfway in. "Previously on Inhumans...."

I was willing this to be amazing since anything less than that would jumped on by paranoid fans who believe Marvel is trying to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans. Sadly this looks not even decent.
Marvel should have just stuck to their guns and done an Inhumans movie. It seems that Infinity War will take more story cues from Hickman's Infinity than the original Infinity Gauntlet and I could see the scene of Black Bolt evacuating and destroying Attilan to prevent it falling to Thanos would have been a shoo in and cool to see in live action but it seems very unlikely now. Inhumans is now officially the Fetch of the MCU. It's just never gonna happen.

Ok, just got back from seeing this with my dad. 5 total people at our screening lol.
First of all, it's not as terrible as everyone is saying and the report of them not bothering to remove a "previously on Inhumans" recap between the two parts was a lie. It plays as a short movie. Also a post credit scene and then a trailer for the rest of the season. So the acting was mostly really good and the effects were what you'd expect from an ABC show. That giant IMAX screen doesn't do Lockjaw any favors, he'll surely look better on the small screen. The main cast is interesting and likable, but I don't get how we're supposed to root for these guys as our protagonists. They're living high on the hog while upholding a generations old caste system. I mean, there's sympathetic villains... and then there's Maximus. He's just plain right. Maybe they'll turn everything on its head and make sense of this, but right now that's the show's main problem. So if you like Agents of Shield at all, you're gonna enjoy this at least a little bit. I can not recommend spending $20 on an IMAX ticket for it though. |

Advertising by ABC for the remaining episodes are billing the series as "complete"

So has anyone suffered through all of this show? I'll probably end up watching it in the days ahead.

Officially cancelled, apparently. Sh**. What do they do with them now? They can't reel back and do a movie and pretend they didn't do an awful TV show now. Kind of seems like this is the end of the Inhumans forever beyond whatever else SHIELD wants to do with them in whatever time it has left.
