Or you could just do the decent and legal thing and buy an official CD from the website (like I just did).

Yeah, seriously. If you can't be bothered to buy the CD for yourself, it's pretty easy to make a digital recording of a vinyl.

Sheesh! Come on y’all! Hopefully you didn’t take what I said that seriously. Oh well. I own an Audio-Technica LP120, so yes - I do have the digital ripping capability, but just don’t utilize it.

I never buy CDs anymore, otherwise I’d be totally over that. Glad this exists, but would have no use for the physical item. It’s awesome that their first CD release is TMNT, though.

For the record, I was surprised Waxworks didn't offer a complimentary digital download of the album with the original vinyl. I figured that would almost be an industry standard these days, and it might have even enticed me to buy the original release, despite the fact that I don't have a way of playing records at home.

I do love the new artwork Kevin Eastman provided for the interior vinyl covers, drawing various scenes from the movie.

I'm with you--I want to avoid more clutter. I'd buy this digitally but likely won't bother with the CD itself.

Yeah, it's for sure an industry standard with most record releases ... but I think Waxwork has never included digital downloads with their vinyl. Which I do find a little strange since they offer sample tracks on their SoundCloud page.

Though based on their Tweet from earlier this year, it does sound like AT SOME POINT ... there will be a digital release.

I feel ya. I'm in the same boat as I already have enough TMNT clutter with the 1990 figures I haven't even opened yet because I'm waiting for a new shelf. Haha.

I feel like a lot of these more upscale collectible-minded vinyl releases like Mondo and Waxworks tend to not have digital downloads for whatever reason, whereas the more mainstream labels often do.

Yeah, you're 100% right. I ordered the vinyl soundtracks of "The Greasy Strangler" and "Home Alone" from MONDO and neither came with digital downloads.

Dang. It's been a year since we got the 1990 vinyl release and no word yet on Secret of the Ooze ... I know it's been practically confirmed by Du Prez, but hopefully, we get some kind of news by year's end. Feels like it'll be a 2020 release though.

Wrong place to ask but if anyone has the purple edition and want to sell, I’d be glad to purchase

So, is the CD back in stock at Waxworks or am I just reading the site wrong?

Learned today that the 1990 score is now available on Spotify and other platforms:

Also, is the CD back in stock?
