Turtles can live to be over 100 years old so adding 20 more years isn't that big of a jump.

All the Turtles look like they have an underbite to me. I think Rick Remender might have drawn "Old Leonardo" that way in the Mirage Tales of the TMNT stories.

Okay, but the fvck did Leo just do??? When's he gonna learn to do that? What are those spirit powers?

It looks this preview is coming from the middle of the story rather than the start. Looks kind of like a weird place to begin. Also, is Sally on her own now? What happened to the Mutanimals?

Why are the Utroms (I'm assuming Ch'rell side) starting with Europe instead of North America? Burnow Island is just 200 miles from New York and even closer to Newfoundland. And what happened to the original Technodrome?

It's showing a 1/16 release on Comixology.

There's a better look at the preview on the IDW website. Still think it's not the real future, though.

It also says that the Utrom Civil War "ended" with the "wrong side" winning (which shouldn't be that much of a surprise, I'm surprised there was much of a "war" at all, comparing Ch'rell and Ma'riell as warzone leaders)

This story is probably influenced by Cyber Samurai Turtles (Archie) in which they traveled back in time to Nazi Germany.

Seems like an interesting concept, hopefully it'll be pulled off well too. We haven't really been given a lot yet so I don't think there's all that much to be excited for specifically yet.
