just saw a new episode of '"breaking in" on Fox and it was about protecting a copy of goonies 2 at comic con. turns out the person who stole the dvd at the con was a person in a tmnt mikey costume. they had him towards the end doing a showdown and nun chucking one of the stars of the show. was pretty funny and I enjoyed that hahaha.

Icelandic Rapper Bent made a song called "1 2 Jesus" about not getting TMNT toys or video games or TMNT clothes for Christmas, turning him atheist.
Robot Chicken did Senior Mutant Ninja Turtles which featured Splinter dying of old age. Robot Chicken did another joke where Joey Fatone, trained by Pat Morita was fighting the four Turtles and had to guess which one was voiced by Corey Feldman (voice of Donatello in TMNT 1 and 3). The Turtles then shout "Awesome", "Radical", "Reaganomics", followed by Donatello saying "Clean? Sober? Back on Television? Things are looking up for the Feldmeister." |

Oh wow!! Stephanie did the "Cut it out" thing!! Anyone remember the show "Out of Control"? Used to air on Nickelodeon back in the 80s and Dave Coulier was the host of it. He'd do the "cut it out" thing on there a lot.

What about references in fellow cartoons?
Like the time The Muppet Babies dressed as them. I cant find the name of the episode, a clip, or even another picture. I only saw this episode once, in re runs. And then there's the "Real Ghostbusters" episode "Mean Green Teen Machine", which aired October 6, 1990. It concerns three teenage, pizza-loving spirits, who come to party in New York and end up in the Ghostbusters dreams. One of them was actually voiced by Cam Clarke. |

Wow, this is my favorite episode of Muppet Babies, ever! The musical parodies were so memorable. And Kermit looked awesome as a ninja turtle!

Well...lets see. Of course there's the Animaniac episode Hooked on a Ceiling which talks about Michelangelo being annoyed by the Warners. Oddly enough the Turtle is voiced by Rob "Raphael" Paulsen And then there's the Super Mario Super Show episode Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Koopas where the Koopa Kids become well...Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Koopas.

I saw a little tribute thing on Oprah (I was
Flipping through channels), showing a few movies and TV shows that reference her show. Towards the middle, they show the scene from SOTO where Raphael asks if Oprah's on. Does that count as a reference, or just a sighting? I guess it leans toward the latter, but still... |

Yes, Full House had tons of TMNT references. Actually, Becky's nephew, Howie, says he's Raphael The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and calls Michelle Shredder. Then when Becky's trying to tell Jesse she's pregnant, they're playing Pictionary. When she says the clue is about a movie, Michelle blurts out, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." I always loved those references.

yeah.... I wasn't really sure whether I should put them there, but I figure even if they don't really count- they're still something.

TMNT References
Hey everyone, I'm making a page on my website showcasing as many moments as anyone can remember in different TV shows where the TMNT have been referenced in some way. If anybody would like to help me do some research, please PM me.
