Is there anything from the 2012 series you'd like to see on the silver screen?

Well, as I was going through the thread about the IDW series in a movie adaptation, it made my gears turn, being a big fan of the 2012 series and knowing that a lot are with me, made me wonder what I should love to see in a 2012 adapted movie.

Plots from the 2012 series which I would love to see in a movie.
- The Kraang as an alien race who secretly have been invading planet earth for thousands of years.
- April is part Kraang
- Karai being the lost long daughter of Hamato Yoshi and she was raised by Shredder.

Characters
- Newtralizer
- Slash
- Chris Bradford and Xever Mendez, dangerous and cunning henchmen of Shredder, plus seeing Rahzar would be so awesome.
- Tigerclaw. In the other thread it was mentioned how old Hob would be so awesome, the same can be said about Tigerclaw.

In addition I'd also would love to see.
- Master Splinter as a fourty-something and him being a tall, authoritative figure, rather than an ancient, Yoda-like presence.
- The interaction between Casey Jones and Raphael seeing how similar they are, in other series that plot was pretty much discarded.
- The fact that the Turtles themselves behaved like real teens.
- Having Greg Cipes reprise his role as Michelangelo, he was just THE guy.

I'd like the origins of Saki and Yoshi, being raised as brothers. Though I like other versions too, this I would happily take in a movie along with some other things.

While I despise the 2012 series in general, Oroku Saki stealing Yoshi's daughter and raising her to hate him and become Karai is pretty great.

A creepy Rat King maybe. If going with realistic CGI again, a Slash somewhat like that one would be cool (as opposed to the dopey one from the original cartoon).

I want to say Bishop, but I'd prefer one more like 2003's.

Oh yeah. I'd keep that but apply it to Pimiko. Karai should be Karai... and not Oroku Karai.

Ciro's pitch of the story behind the Mutagen Bomb, which I don't think is ever gonna happen in animation (still waiting for the book).

Also, I'd rather see the actual 2012 turtles on the big screen with improved animation rather than something else that is inspired.

Karai having a role unlike the little use they made of her in the PD movies would be good. I would take her 2012 role or something lightly adjusted. I don't need her to be mutated though. I'd tone those down a tad for the big screen.

Leatherhead, as mentioned somewhere above would be a good extra if they pulled him off in the live action CGI.

I meant Slash in the way he would end up looking with proper CGI.

But yeah, him being Raphael's pet turtle is a very good plot to keep around.

Uh, let me think here... I guess that cosmic ocean might seem cool with Hollywood level CGI?

... I can't really think of anything else that would be especially interesting in a movie. There aren't really many things I'd be more than just OK with being on the big screen to be honest. Or even returning in general.

It would probably be easier to list things I'm not so keen on seeing come back.

I don't know, that moment when she fell into that vat and the Turtles and Shredder looking so devastated at it happening was one of the best moments of the second season, it was easily as dark as any Mirage comics story lines. Nobody won that fight, they all lost.

Or in a movie they could have a story line where Karai already HAS the mutation, she flashes a fork tongue and green snake eyes every once in a while, just a little hint that something happened to her. Maybe Shredder had her mutated as a fail safe measure, to keep her in line. "Don't disobey me daughter, or else..."

I'd love to see more Turtle-ly designs appear on the silver screen ala elements 2012 had with limb designs and more accurate shell shapes.

Mikey using a kusarigama, just make it permanent and ditch the 'chucks.

Yoshi and Saki having a closer relationship before becoming enemies.

The scene sure did have an impact and with the emotions of a few characters. I found it sad for her though. I like that Shredder didn't want to do that to her though, even if he did recklessly dangle her above the mutagen and swing his blades near the chain...he'd go far as we'd seen but there was a limit when it came to her or internal conflict, even if not much.
The mutation would give her an advantage but on the other hand I like her as a worthy fighter without that something else helping.

Edit: Also Candy's post above, agreed there, I liked the less bulky looking shells.

I liked the 2012 designs but thinking of the big screen obviously they would need to be altered to suit a more real looking situation, thinking about a tougher look would refer a little more to Mikey and Donnie maybe but they don't need to be like scary mean, just fit the big screen

Oh and finally, Tarris Vaal …. are you coming to weigh in?
