are the NECA Bootlegs worth getting
as time goes on, the NECA tmnt figures become rarer and harder to find at a decent price.
my question is, are the bootlegs worth getting? i will only be displaying them in my room, if that helps

From what I've heard, they're pretty sharp...and now you have a choice of Mirage Red or everything else multicolored.

since you have shown me that there are threads that already exist, could you show me a thread that shows the differences between the real figures and the bootlegs please?

I have customized both bootlegs and authentic NECA figures. The real difference is that the authentic NECA figs are harder to paint (the bandanna is made from a more flexible plastic which causes paint to crease prior to drying). other than that, the bootlegs are legit and are pretty good quality.
If you want authentic, then you'll have to pay more but the bootlegs are great. some are made poorly (i.e. see the thread about the bootleg white and black tmnt NECAs). The main complaint is that their hands (not all of them) can sometimes snap out of the socket easily. They pop back with no problem, but I'm not sure if that will bother you. the new bootlegs get my approval! |

by 'new bootlegs', do you mean the multicolored headband versions that have appeared on eBay a couple of days ago?

I have had great luck with the red headband ones. The color headband Michelangelo I bought appears just as good.

Can you pm me the seller you got yours from? I'd like to pick up another set to check out and see if they are better quality than the ones I have. It's crazy there was a ton of red bandana bootlegs available now hardly any, they disappeared quick.

What the f*ck is wrong with people around here? Every other forum I go on, sure, there's always a few newbies that don't know the ropes, but they either fall in line or leave. But here, I dunno... It's like it's where all the worst kinds of posters come. It's a shame, 'cause otherwise this is a great forum with some great people... |

I just don't see how bumping a bunch of threads makes someone an ass. Why. Did he ruin your Technodrome viewing experience because now you have to look at 5 threads all being bumped to the top. Oh, poor thing.
