On tiny screen of my smartphone it had looked better.
As it is now: it looks somewhat cheap and there is too much photoshop in the background.

It looks like a cheap version of the Batman & Robin movie Batgirl costume, but I liked that costume so it's not necessarily a bad thing. I just wonder how well she meshes with the rest of the bat family, I'm not familiar with who she is.

Cape looks like some Party City sh*t, but the rest looks surprisingly close, right down to the shade of the red wig. The cape would look a lot more striking with a different type of fabric and shade of red. Not sure what they're going for there.

Not really interested. I have most of the issues of Detective Comics when they made it her book for a while; they're okay but literally nothing about them stuck with me. I think she's a better "visual" than a character, if that makes any sense. Her costume is fantastic but there's not much behind it.

I do own her DC Direct action figure. Her series just didn't thrill me.

The more new characters with untapped potential is brought to light, the better. I have tired of endless reboots of Batman.

OK, I know this will be an un popular opinion with the PC/Progressive crowd, but WTH.

If they had JUST kept her a straight woman(yes, I realize the newer version isn't in thecomics) protecting the city, like Supergirl...I could have accepted it a whole lot better, even with the goofy wig costume.

But making it SO obvious that they are screaming 'she's gay!' with her look.....and the 'she's a bad ass!', which is femenisms calling card these days...

what could have been cool just got alot of groans.

I've always thought the bat family only needed bruce, barbra and grayson. anyone else is just one too many.

Well... the character IS gay, though, and she does indeed wear a "goofy wig costume". I haven't seen the show, but so far, points for sticking to the source material. Except for that stupid cape that looks like... I don't know, exactly. But it don't look right.

Did the character NEED to be gay? I'unno. Probably not. That never bothered me about the character; what bothered me is, I have a few dozen issues of her book(s) and none of it stuck in my brain. So it's possible that her sexuality is indeed the thing we're supposed to care about most. For the life of me, I can barely remember much else. That, and she got kicked out of the military. For being gay. So yeah, maybe that is the central thing.

I generally dig her outfit, though. I own the action figure. Is she a necessary character? Eh, probably not. They've had about ten years to "get her over" and as far as I'm aware they still haven't.

Lots of comic book "characters" are really just a great-looking visual; I kinda feel like that's her case.

You're like 12 years behind to be complaining about this, V. Maybe you should actually pick up Batwoman's comics before making statements like this.

Also, limiting the Bat Family to only Bruce, Dick, and Barbara would be lame as hell. That's like saying the Flash family should only include Barry, Wally, and Iris or the Superman Family only composed of Clark, Kara, and Lois.
