Jim Lawson's Kickstarter - Box City Wallops
Jim Lawson's Kickstarter campaign for the Box City Wallops ends soon, and is almost funded. Support it if you can, it's a great book! There are plenty of great rewards, including the comics, his Dinosaur Head Cat book, and original art from the series.

Last 24 hours. I hope this gets funded, probably my favorite thing Lawson's done since TMNT.

10 Hours left $440 or so to go... If I didn't have as many expenses I'd have backed it. The Canadian dollar also being so low its just about $70 for the 4 issues with shipping. Perhaps I'll keep an eye on it if it gets closer I might just bite the bullet if it will help bring it over.
Was really happy with the commissions Jim did for me and the price several years ago it would be nice to see this succeed. Seems like a great guy. |

One hour to go, and it's getting close to being funded - pledge if you can!

Man, $134 short. That's a bummer.

Maybe not enough advertisement was made of this campaign?
I only heard of it 2-3 days ago. |

Well that's too bad. I'd have backed this had I seen it earlier.

I would have backed it as well.

I just realized the French Ninja Turtles community was not aware of this campaign either. I am sure it could have interested a bunch of the fans there.
I have the feeling this campaign could be re-run and easily successfully funded. |

What a shame this project wasn't completely funded.
Lawson's art is classic and it would've been nice seeing a black and white comic with his art get a continuation, even if it isn't TMNT. |
