I'd suggest buying the controller separate. Nintendo are selling them for $10.

I lucked out six years ago when I scored an NES Action Set that still SMELLED brand new even though it wasn't. I was going to just keep its box at first so I could store my own system, but I couldn't bring myself to give it up anymore. It had all the original parts, including those two ohm connectors. It still had all of its paperwork except for one of the manuals, but I can't remember if it was the one for the console or the zapper. It even still had the warranty and the same Nintendo Power subscription form that came with my system when I first got it in 1989.

Not even with an A/V cable?

I already said this in the main Nintendo thread, but I've got my money on that happening.

30 games at 5 dollars each is 150. 2 dollars each is alot more appealing.

Well 30 dollars for a NES, one you know will 100% work
30 games for 1 dollar a piece, all you know is working properly

Looks kinda of small. Sure that thing can fit the old Nes games?

It doesn't. It was never supposed to. The "cartridge slot" is just molding.

I wish the controller were USB or bluetooth and not the stupid Wii plug.

I'm really excited for this. I've been hoping that Nintendo would put out something like this. My brother in law bought the Sega version (https://www.amazon.com/Sega-Genesis-...9037060&sr=8-2) for my mom's house. The 30 games that were chosen left out quite a few games that I would like to have seen. For example, it would've been really cool if it could've featured TMNT 2: The Arcade Game. Granted I did unlock the original TMNT arcade game on the Playstation 2 TMNT 2:Battle Nexus game. But I prefer the Nintendo version more than the actual arcade version that's featured in the Playstation game.

Wish I could have a NES, but my TV is only HDMI. A modded NES would probably be hella expensive..

Literally all these games are on the virtual console, so I have no reason to buy this. For those of you who own most of these games you're essentially just buying a plastic box that looks nostalgic.

I seriously can't justify buying this because I own every single game on it in some form or another.

This book from Prima Games sounds like a cool accompaniment to the NES Classic.

Is there a list of games? The list depends on if it is worth the purchase. Honestly, I really just want Manhattan Project dusted off. Other than that just a couple of others would make it the icing on the cake.
