and finally finished book 12 of Star Darlings and the first major story arc. Was actually a pretty decent read, even though I had accidentally spoiled myself (you know, because the summary of Book 13 coming out spoils the ending of 12)
Looking forward to book 13, seeing exactly how Cora became Rancora, going from Stella's friend to the enemy of the planet. How she turned for light and only needing darkness to suffice

Been reading Batgirl volume 5 for about 2 weeks. Normally comics take me 5 to 6 days to read, but I barely have time now. Almost done with it, though.

Recently found a nice, inexpensive little leather bound copy of "The Art of War" in Barns & Noble. Been flipping through random portions of that and another little book, "Meditations for People Who Worry".

I am a bit disappointed towards the end of Batgirl volume 5.
Everything seems rushed. She went from being a bat vigilante to being the black beast. To do so, she sought out Bane, trained under him etc. Before that she almost got married to an unknown guy, but her brother showed up and messed it up. too much to handle in one book. I think I might quit reading it, which is unfortunate, because I was enjoying the experience. I'll check and see what the next book is about, if it's stupid and things don't go back to normal, then I'm out.
