DC Streaming Service Live Action Titans and Young Justice

I'm willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt when it comes to having a bad First Trailer. Heck, I'm even more than willing to give it some space for the first few episodes. Most shows need a couple to find their voice.

However, BOY this first trailer sure does tell us a lot about what they think you DC Fanboys really want, don't it?

A first trailer is supposed to entice and appeal, not alienate and piss off.

Even if (and it's a big f'ing if) the show actually isn't like this, why would you run the risk of letting Dick "Holy Head Trauma, Batman, Jason Todd was Right After All!" Grayson run off your built-in fanbase!?

I can think of two reasons right off the bat:

1) Marketing people are bad at their jobs, in that they can't read the room.

2) The Fanbros who make the most noise are the only ones being heard, and this is legit what they think the vast majority of the fanbase is fond of.

I mean, given the amount of hate Marvel gets for making movies with optimistic heart, I can easily see someone being like:
WE NEED MORE DARK!

As a group, we fanboys don't tend to focus on how much we love a thing nearly as much as how much we don't love a thing.
And I think what we're seeing here is the effect to that cause. Welcome to the positive feedback loop, population: us.

The service is 8 dollars a month or 75 a year, who is actually going to subscribe?

I guess comic nerds since it includes comics but they will annoyingly rotate content in and out which I'm guessing will be the same for their shows. I could see myself subscribing one month, binge watching a bunch of DC shows and read comics and cancel until there's enough content for me to binge watch. Unlike Netflix which I know will have different movies that I may want to watch and it's easier just to keep subbed to it.

I won't pay for any online service. I'll just wait for the eps to be available elsewhere, I'm only interested in Young Justice Season 3 anyway.

Yeah, upon more research the show won't be in the Arrowverse, DC announced their "Worlds of DC" multiverse name replacing the DCEU that basically means no continuity and any show/movie can be its own timeline. Damn, how can they be so incompetent?

Arrowverse is also the closest thing they have to the MCU, it's well established, successful and liked despite its variation in quality. If Justice League had had TV show Flash maybe more people would've been excited, I mean his movie is now in development hell and might never come out while the tv show keeps getting renewed.

I'm cool for casting a black actress as Starfire, but I really think she should be perpetually orange in every shot.

I couldn't agree more!!!! Give her Orange body paint and stop making her look like a freaking hooker!!!!!!!! Also give Beast boy Green body paint other wise he looks like Jake Long from American Dragon........
