Just wondering if the cover of Color Classics: The Works Volume 4 is the actual cover for the final product. It says Eastman drew the cover but it sure looks like a Lawson Leo on the cover? Wish they would have put Casey on the cover rather than just a single turtle.

I eventually found a Digital Webbing Presents #24 with the TMNT variant cover.
It cost me $50 on eBay, I do not know how good a deal it was but at least I was willing to pay that price! I am looking forward to receiving it. By the way, I realized there are not that many variant covers of books from Mirage continuity (including Image run and miscellaneous such as DWP #24). Is there a thread on the forum listing them? |

Is this Betty Page and has anyone asked the creators why her poster is at the Water Tower in City at War? Other then the fact of course, that she's one of the most know pin-up girls of all time...

This is by no means a absolute answer, but Eastman and Laird have been known to put in real places and things in there comic.
In the original North Hampton arc they actually have Mirage studios in the drawing as well as the business that surrounded them. Also the Cow that was stolen while in North Hampton that casey loved so much was based on a store that had an actual store that had a cow on top of the store. So it shouldn't be too surprising.

And as for Betty Page... Why would you need a reason to throw a little Betty Page in anywhere? Rawr. |

Is the Tales of the TMNT collections released by IDW in colour or black and white?

I'm trying to remember if there were ever story lines that used the TMNT's apparent physical similarities as a plot point.
Like, one where one turtle is captured and pretends to be another, or where they all pretend to be one person, or something along those lines?

TMNT Archie Adventures #58 http://tmntentity.blogspot.com/2012/...ntures-58.html Fun little story. As a kid, I really liked it and thought it was a creative acknowledgement of Mirage history, even if I hadn't actually read any of the comics at that point (just seen pictures of the covers in other books). In the Fred Wolf toon, a couple of episodes touch upon the fact that April had trouble telling them apart: "Turtles Tracks" and "Slash: Evil Turtle from Dimension X."

Also, I think it was the episode "Cowabunga, Shredhead" where Rocksteady says "All dem turtles look alike to me!" as he shoots his gun blindly at the multitude of Michelangelo holograms. I thought it was a fun little line, if nothing else.

Teen Techno Turtle Trip Plus One also fits the bill, albeit the story is a goofy alternate universe take.

Is there a story where the turtles or one of them is seen by a sewer worker or something? Calling them/it an alligator? Or is this another false memory of mine?
