i know, went through that when i had to sell my transformer collection a few years ago and went through a comic shop and got a lot less than i was hoping for but i was desperate and much as i hate to say it i didn't think i could set up an ebay shop with out screwing it up and getting into more "trouble". oh well, at least my lootcrates finally on its way.

Definitely. Everyone hits that point eventually. A couple of the bigger toy YouTube people I follow, ToyBro and Pixel Dan, seem to have hit that point. It definitely sucks when it happens but it should lead to much more healthy collecting.

I've done this many times across life already. But at this point the whole "pop culture consumerism" thing has been an inextricable part of my life. I can separate it from the rest of my life if need be, but the simple fact is that this stuff has been around me forever in some form or another.

There is actually a point in life where you might look at your "stuff" or your accumulation and realize that these things have been around you in life longer than your parents......

I think though, the real thing is that are the toys, comics, etc - all of the nonsense - is it all you are? If it's a lifelong hobby and part of your comfort-style then cool, but is it basically all you've got when you boil it all down? That's a problem. The 80's generation or so - young gen x'ers - might be the first generation who, as a group, both embraced pop culture consumerism and also basically created lifelong ownership of things that other generations threw away in their youth.

I noticed on my FedEx app last night that I had a package from the same place. Today I got the email from NECA and it had the same tracking number. Spent a lot of time last night trying to figure out what I had coming from a Halloween shop haha.

That place is about 10 minutes away from where I live. I’m in Hales Corners Wi.

Interesting enough, I didn’t get a shipping notice until this morning when it in fact was shipped yesterday afternoon from New Berlin to the FedEx station in Menomonee Falls Wi to the Cudahy Wi location to on the truck for delivery.


Just got mine from FedEx and Neca used the fancy bubblewrap on the Ultimate Foot and regular on the 2 pack…no damage. Great job Neca for the great packing job and fast shipping!

Anyone in the Muncie, IN area who didn't grab these from NECA, Target currently has something like a thousand sets of Attila/Napoleon... and the same thousand sets of Genghis/Rasputin and Zorax/Zork that have been there for months.
