I don't think enough people care. And 3K is pretty steep.

IMO they need to bite the bullet and just do a short. We know the costumes look good but what about the acting and the martial arts? I'm sure after we see a short more people would be more inclined to donate.

This actually looks pretty fun!

Wouldn't mind watching it if it ever came to fruition. I like some of the stylistic choices they make. The whole thing feels like the original toy line's box-art come to life. It has a colorful/punk rock feel to it. I like it for what it is.

Um. Probably not enough to donate though. Anyways, I'll check back later. If any of you working on this are here on the forum, welcome and good luck!

Kickstarter campaign cancelled on May 12.

Last update to official Facebook page was May 3 with a Baxter Stockman fly mask.

So... is this project dead?

First off i want to thank everybody that believed in this project enough to make a pledge. Unfortunately, to many mistakes where made early on that left a lot of people confused, Due to the confusion and lackluster response to this project, as well as the people pulling the pledges they've made, I have decided to cancel the fundraiser. Again a big thank you to the people that tried to help, i am grateful and to show my gratitude i will still do a two minute teaser with all the characters i intended to put in the film, i will put it on youtube and facebook when it is complete. to all the backers that helped previously you will be getting a copy of all that we have shot very soon. Thanks again Scotty Fields
Looks like he's done, He'll only shoot a 2 minute teaser with what he has done so far, and that's it, its unfortunate if this project was advertised more, maybe it could've been funded by then.

Curious that the Facebook page still receives updates, most recently, the head and appendages for Baxter Stockman's classic fly design.

He couldn't shoot a 10-15 minute thing with $4000? I shot a 2 1/2 hour movie with less than that, and he's already got his costumes made.

Their new Kickstarter is over 80% funded with 12 days to go. Sounds promising!

Glad to see this latest (most modest) Kickstarter did get funded. Backers can still contribute if you want a set of DVDs of the finished project or some other stuff like that:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ction-fan-film

End time: July 9 2017 12:09 AM EDT.

Final Kickstarter total was $6,347. I look forward to seeing the film, although I fear it might have difficulty into cramming so many characters into a concise running time. I'm sure it'll be fun, and I'll give you all my review of the dvd features once I eventually receive them.

With that many characters, maybe its better if it was made as a web series.

So did this ever happen? I see there were a lot of campaigns along the way:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/n...ood-brothers#/

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ction-fan-film

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...rofile_created

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...blood-brothers

Looks like he was looking for $4,000, then $20,000, $30,000, and then $40,000? Looks like he pocketed about $9,000 between two of those campaigns, not including the campaign that was unsuccessful.

I think I pledged $10 or something like that (in July of 2017) in order to get a DVD once the thing eventually came out.

Some progress seemed to be made, and updates came out every couple of months or so, but the last public post I remember came from the Facebook page on July 23, 2019:
https://www.facebook.com/NinjaTurtlesBloodBrothers/

Since then, I think it's been dark. I haven't given up on it, as the project always seemed too ambitious for its own good, but I suppose it's no big loss either.

EDIT:
Oh, dang, looks like I actually sent $35 ($25 for DVD and $10 for shipping), and I was backer #62. Yeah, gotta call my lawyer up ASAP (if I had one), lolz.

Mostly just going off the comments here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...-film/comments

A cursory look at his personal FB shows new stuff in the interim not related to Blood Brothers.

Thanks for the notice. Shame about the project funding possibly being used for other stuff instead, especially as I was looking forward to seeing LH...thankfully, I don’t recall ever pledging.
