When was the last time you watched SB's TMNT Movie?
No matter how many versions of the Turtles come and go - I always find myself coming back to the Steve Barron directed TMNT.
I may never actually sit through the whole thing - might catch 30 mins during lunch at work, etc. but I notice that I never do that with the other Turtle films. I may not have been completely on board with everything in this film, but even now it holds strong, and is entertaining. When was the last time you saw this movie? Do you watch it often? If not, which movie do you find yourself coming back to time, and time again?

New Years Eve, I believe. I watch at least twice a year, I'd say. The sequels get one or two shots a pop too, same for TMNT, Turtles Forever, & Casey Jones (the fan film).
I did re-watch OOTS a few months back (it was nice being able to skip over the Jones/O'neil scenes), but I've never revisited the first Bay film. Definitely not in any rush to, either.

I don't know. If any of the movies are on TV I'll watch them if nothing else is on.
I actually do not have any Turtles movie on DVD. Just never happened to get them and now I'm just waiting for special BluRays. It's ridiculous that none of the old movies have bonus content.

I marathon the original trilogy movies every I dunno....maybe 5 years or so? I've seen them all at least 20 times since I was a kid though.

I popped in the blu ray back in January. It's hard for me to actually watch it, because it's burned into my brain. I could do a full quote-along and probably only mess up a couple of lines... I'd have to figure that I've watched it over 100 times by now, easily.

I re-watched all three films on blu-ray for the first time last year.

Literally every other day. Next to the toys, it's my favorite TMNT thing ever. If nothing's on? SB Movie. Going to bed? SB Movie as a lullaby. (wife hates it) Newly purchased collectible? SB Movie Soundrack (for unboxing) followed by SB Movie. Luckily I'm able to find it online to watch as my VHS tape degraded years ago and I haven't used a VCR in God knows when...my DVD copy is lost at my father's house in another state. (I brought it to watch during my visit) I'm building a diorama display that is also to be used for photographs and video. The main idea of the setup is "If-the-SB Movie-happened-in-the-same-universe-of-the-animated-shows": Teenage criminals, teen hangout/Shredder lair/Foot training facility, Chief Sterns, Charles and Danny Pennington, etc. Matter of fact, it's more like "If-the-SB-Movie-had-all-the-animated-characters".

I watch it at least once a month. It's a fantastic movie, I love everything about it. It's perfect in my opinion.

It's been since new years time or so. I hadn't watched in a couple years since then. I've seen it so so so many times.
I estimate I've seen that first TMNT movie at least 40 times. Maybe upwards of 60 or so. Not more than 60. |
