Beavis and Butt-head possibily returning to the airwaves

http://www.tvsquad.com/2010/07/07/mi...-head-revival/

I thought Mike Judge was through with animation though. Anyway, this is actually one of the few revivals I find I could easily welcome just fine. Also, as sad as this may sound, this is like the only thing that could make me pay attention to MTV again. Of course, that's provided MTV does accept this. If not, then MTV can continue to stay dead.

Ahh! I've been wishing for the return of B&B for a while (at least their thoughts regarding current music videos).

There's really such thing as people who don't like Beavis and Butt-head? I'd heard of them, but didn't think they were real.

I always figured Beavis and Butthead were like Ed, Edd, and Eddy, but for adults.

I have never watched it. If it does comes back on, I'll give it a shot.

B&B wasn't for everyone, but I'd love to see it return. Lampooning the mid-late 90s and early 2000s music videos seems to be a thing that would write itself.

I wonder if they'd make B&B older now, for a twist? Clerks II style... they're 10 years older but still squatting around, not doing sh*t.

Also, I have no idea... but I think I read that B&B died in their last episode. Was this true?

No, they didn't die. The last episode was called "Beavis and Butt-Head are dead" and it was about them calling in "dead" to school. (IE: "They can't go to school today, they're dead")

A grown up B&B might be absolutely hilarious though.

Series Finale, Extended episode. Beavis tells the school secretary that he and Butt-head are dead, causing Princpal McVicker to celebrate and Mr Van Driessen to mourn their passing while B&B are at home watching old tv shows from earlier episodes and eating nachos.
I seem to remember them getting shot or something in a park but it's been so long.

I wonder if they'd even still do music videos since MTV doesn't seem to really play them anymore. I'm sure it would still be funny if they did though.

It started when I was 13, and I was in the eighth grade. Though when I was 14 and a high school freshman, my mother caught me watching it and forbade me to watch it. I'd still watch when she wasn't in the same room though.

I remember when they used to have moron-a-thons from time to time, with all these Beavis and Butt-head episodes back to back. What sucked is that every time they'd have them, I'd be out of the house for a long time, or my mother was home with me. So I never got to enjoy those fully without the risk of my mother breathing down my neck.

I don't know about Beavis and Butt-head as adults. The fact that they were teenagers was part of their charm, especially with their antics.

You might be thinking of these promos where they have Mike Judge dressed up as a hillbilly and talking like one, talking about killing Beavis and Butt-head. Then they'd show a close-up shot of the two screaming a long "nooooooooooooo!", and then cutting to another shot of them falling backwards on their back with the sound of a gunshot. Those two scenes were actually from two different episodes spliced together with a gunshot sound effect added in to make it look like they'd get killed.

Wow. My friend Dennis would love it if they returned. My brother used to watch the show, but I never did. Still, if they did come back, I'd check it out just like I did with Futurama when it came onto Comedy Central.
