Back in the player chair on D&D Tuesdays, was a lot of fun. Playing a warm, loving and motherly cleric who secretly serves the evil God of secrets, undead and necromancy.

Lol, sounds awesome, Kappa! I bet she'd fit right in with my group. We have an elf ninja, a half-elf monk (they are from the same clan/house) a kitsune arcanist, a vampire sorceress, and a half-dragon sorcerer. And three npc's- a drow bard, a gnome pyromancer, and a kobold artificer (who is really a disguised red dragon). There was an orc barbarian, but he left the game, and has been left in the "service" of the church of the fertility and passion god.....

Yup, what they thought was a bowel obstruction turned out to be just swollen lymph nodes and an inflamed colon. Meds and an IV for fluids cleared her up. But they shaved her front legs and her belly for the exploratory surgery, so now she has big bald patches, lol. Been sleeping most of the day, probably from stress over the weekend.

Awesome. Lucky girl that it turned out to be less serious, and lucky owners!

Yeah, still cost us almost 300$, but it could have heen a lot worse.

Partly it just may be more expensive in this area anyhow, but our goober that did once have an obstruction ended up with a $2k vet bill, so yeah, I'm glad it wasn't the case after all for you guys. Ours was lucky that my parents (his actual owners) could do it at the time and couldn't bare to have him put down over it. |

Yeah, neither could I for something like that. As it is we are going to have to pay it out, but even if it had been, I still would. She's too young to lose over something that can be fixed. Just happy she's better!

One my my clients at the gym got some good news from their doctor this week - blood pressure down, weight down, etc. - and decided to thank me with a $100 tip. That's not something that happens at the gym every day. I mean I get a few gift cards every year for food and coffee and stuff, or movie passes, but this was pretty sweet and totally unexpected.

That's awesome, and I guess qualifies for a "keep up the good work!" for both you and the client.
Small happy maker and just pocket change in comparison, but at least I doubled my money and won $4 from the Powerball. |

2-year-old nephew finally attempted to call me by name, and after trying to say "Happy Halloween" as encouraged by his mother, so being my fave holiday and all that makes it extra cool.
Had taken him a while, but I can understand since mom, dad, and mom-mom are way easier than grasping trying pronounce a name, esp one that's a bit of a phonetic tongue twister for a toddler. |

This didn't happen today but this past Friday. I watched my cousin marry his high school sweetheart who he has been with since they were 16. It was super sweet, and his bride is such a lovely girl inside and out. She is just as down to earth and as humble as my cousin, and I am glad they are married.

A change in my benefits at my job made me happy. The company now allows me to use paid vacation time more flexibly and it no longer expires.

Ordered me this tee for the holidays.
Had come across it last year, probably on eBay, and kinda wanted it then and ran across it again recently. Then found the seller company's own website and managed to save a couple of bucks (compared to eBay) with the current discount. |
