The Sewer Subway Chase set and Series 6 blind bags have been spotted.
Updated the checklist in the first post.

I didn't know Mega had packaged the Nick Party Wagon and Pizzeria Showdown sets together until I saw one at Kohl's the other day:

Looking back on that minifigure checklist...it is now pretty obvious what S7 would be:

- Raph with Gold Plastron/Sais
- Super Ninja Donatello
- Mystic Mike
- Leo with Black Coat/Hat (could this be an attempt at monster hunter Leo?)
- Kraangdroid - Trans(parent/lucent)
- Space Casey
- Armaggon
- SECRET RARE = 80's Rocksteady?

It would be pretty sweet if we could somehow get S7... mainly for the Mystic Mike, Space Casey, and Armaggon. Of course, we also need Coney Island (looks likely) to show up along with the sports packs (not as likely). Then that would complete that checklist.

Since everything with in-package photos seems to be making it out through one channel or another, then maybe the HSH Alley Attack and Dojo Duel will show up somewhere. On the Mega shop site, they list them as discontinued, which was the case for S5 as well. S5 has just been spotted in a US Walmart, I believe, by tokka (see his Instagram) while until now the bulk of them were so far dumped in Canada and ToyWiz.

Looks like the Coney Island set is out now somewhere in the US. Dollar General stores perhaps?

Pictures are popping up on Instagram and Twitter. There's even an auction on eBay right now, current bid is $76. I can only hope more will be listed soon so the set may get less expensive.

For those curious, the Coney Island eBay auction ended at $82.

Is it just me or have mega construx kind of disappeared from retail? My Target, Meijers, and Walmart all used to have them. I haven''t seen any lately. I think Meijer had a handful of old stuff.

My local Walmart reset their toys before October to get ready for Christmas and that was the last of any Mega Construx. They were condemned to the clearance isle and the Department Manager said they will not be carrying them anymore.

Some Targets around me still have the products, but really only have ever had Pokemon of Halo products. TBH I stopped looking at Target because they have not had anything but Halo or Pokemon for over the last year.

Toys R Us was the only place in my area that actually stocked much of anything from Mega Construx.

Someone had four new Training level sets listed on eBay which I had never seen or heard of before:

# FBM81 Leo Barrel Kick
# FBM82 Raph Punching Bag
# FMB83 Mickey Pizza Launch
# FMB84 Donnie Bo Staff Smash

here's the eBay listing (already ended)

I will try to post some photos if/when I get the sets.

Thanks for sharing, I also had no idea these existed.
I wonder where they came from?

I posted some images of the packaging on my site ( link )

I'll try to post more when I open them. As for where they came from, the only clue I have is that the legal small print on the back lists them as being from Mattel Canada. So I would have to guess that they were products intended for the tail end of the line in Canada that are now being dumped on US liquidation stores instead. I bought one of the Coney Island sets off of eBay and it is the same thing.

Exclamation TMNT2012 Blind Bags Series 7 Prototypes

TMNT2012 Blind Bags Series 7 Prototypes. Too bad they were not mass produced. Do you have more information / photos of them?

Dang, those actually look pretty finalized to me.
And MEGA has a history of not ever letting things go to waste.
So if they mass produced any of these, they are probably out there somewhere.

For instance the Despicable Me / Minions line, Series 2, is extremely rare (with the secret chase figure being the rarest of all....I have all of them except that one!!!) because for whatever reasons were going on at the time they were entirely dumped in Australia, and collectors didn't know in time.

This happens with their larger sets too, including the Smurfs line, which suffered a similar fate on the tail-end sets.

Now I will not be able to sleep at night!!!

Fingers crossed. Coney Island does pop up from time to time too. So it leaves the small sports sets and those a couple posts above and S7 to resurface. Hopefully they will. And hopefully they will make more classic sets. That would be nice.

That transparent one? You can have him. That one actually is available. He is part of the Transforming Turtle Mech set.

The S7 kraangdroid looks a bit lighter toned than the one in the Turtle Mech. The show did have a bit of variety in some of them:

Thanks to the footage from visit of Mega HQ, link, we also have a (blurry) idea how would next classic canisters look like. It would be Bebop and an odd Donatello.
