I saw a preview of one of the eps showing the turtles seeing for the first time the mystic pizza place that they already visiting in Fast and the Furriest (5a). It better have been a flashback scene!

These two were some of the funniest episodes of the series so far, no doubt! A lot of really cool action shots, too. So good. I'm not too great at articulating lately, but yeah, I enjoy the hell out of this wacky ass cartoon. Quality humor & animation, fun designs.

Good to see some past events get referenced, & a potential plot opening up with that Foot gauntlet.

What's this, some light touches of continuity and...a cliffhanger? Wow, now if they would just keep that up a bit more consistently.

Okay, so the 'Maze' ep should actually come BEFORE Fast and Furriest. Hmm. So ep numbering means little...

Lightly Leo-centeric, taking a bit of the lead and has good instincts on actually getting to the 'end' (prior to the walls closing of course), and is a little opposed to breaking the one rule...granted because he wanted something out of it *sigh*... but... okay, it's a start. (Just wish it was within a "plot" that kinda of mattered.)

Longest Fight... Funny, though the too obvious commentary on people being attached to their phones is kinda dull. Liked much of the rest though. Predictable that the ring wasn't the objective. Do appreciate that the skateboarder they were wanting so bad to watch was a girl.

Great episodes.

They were so teasing us with Shredder in both episodes.

Minotaur Maze - The cheese grater and Raph called it Shred Head
The Longest Fight - The Gauntlet and the Foot mentioning Sensie

Also I was a having look in at the photographs in Minataur Maze and noticed a pictures of a Rhino and Warthog.

1) Leo's greatest weapon: Reverse psychology.

2) Would be better if Minotaur Maze aired before The Fast and the Furriest.

3) I wonder if Repo Mantis has a similar disguise to that old lady's. That would be how he managed to keep his business afloat.

4) For those assuming that the gauntlet is linked to The Shredder, it looked more like Baron Draxum's hand.

5) Why would that mall have a Wi-Fi password that is only ONE digit?

Man, I can't wait to see these. Loving the series immensely so far. The slow release pattern Amazon is following in uploading new episodes on the digital platform is agonizing lol. They need to get with the damn program.

Up until now I assumed the episode numbering implied the proper order. But here we are, episode 6B clearly taking place before episode 5A... I really wish we had the production codes...

Here's something silly: I went to watch these on Comcast on demand, and they were listed separately. Even though Minotaur Maze said it was available to watch, it said it wasn't upon choosing to watch it. So then I elected to at least watch The Longest Fight.

Which actually ran Minotaur Maze instead.

Oh Comcast... lol Well, they are the ones that had the title of Origami Tsunami entered in the tv listings as ORIGINAL Tsunami the other day, so why am I not surprised.

Sydney is slightly a character reference to the 2k3 series. Since Quarry, one of the mutants from the Notes from the Underground arc was a woman named Sydney when she was demutated. Perhaps Sydney Allen gets mutated in a future episode and speaks with a male voice after it happens.

Provided that it isn't just a coincidence. Would be cool if it isn't.

Even if she is mutated she will be just a kid friendly mutant that will not scary and threatening like the 2003 series which how crap and kid friendly this series is.

Despite the Shredder foreshadowing, I'm still not that ecstatic for it. Him appearing is one thing, his portrayal is another. They could make him like how Slade was in The Teen Titans Go! Movie. Maybe not as humorous but probably a little close to that. It all depends when (if) he appears.

I actually like the fact they are only hinting at the Shredder at this time. The Shredder is more threatening when he's just an ominous presence in the background. While he isn't that yet, we do know that there are more things afoot (pun intended) with the Foot Clan. As they seem to be collecting components of the Shredder's armor. Kinda like how in the Ninja Tribunal arc there were three components of the Shredder that were locked away and separated to keep Tengu Shredder from awakening. His body, his helmet, and his Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is what we see the Foot Duo taking, and Foot Brute does accidentally say they were looking for their lost sensei when he assumes the noise they heard had been the security guard coming. So perhaps when Shredder does appear, he would be human turned demon...or maybe a demon that is a corporal embodiment of human evil.

At this time the Turtles don't really know who the Foot Clan are. They just think the Foot Lieutenant and the Foot Brute are just two weird guys who have shady intentions but aren't really all that threatening in the long run.

These were both great episodes. Some of the previous eps were pretty weak so I was getting kinda bored already, but these eps kinda restored my interest in this series. Great action scenes too and I like the two Foot Mystics.

Kinda frustrated by Minotaur Maze being episode #106B and coming after Fast and the Furriest #105A. I went out of my way to watch them in production order and it still is out of order, I hope this doesn't become an ongoing thing.
