So the Triceratons move to Burnow Island where the utroms are and will meet Ch'rell and things will not go over too well.

I always love getting the solicits for the upcoming comics but I'd already seen most of these this time, oh well.

I wonder if the Triceratons' new neighbors could be the Utroms? Burnow Island could be facing a real estate boom

Also, CBR mentions Dave Wachter as an interior artist for TMNT #81.

"All-new color" as in all-new, or the same "all-new color" from 4-6 years ago?

...Good point.
I think the difference is that Bishop arrived without a main-universe preview (as far as I remember) and Ch'rell did.

That's not bad

So the Triceratons are staying on Earth? It shouldn't be too hard to find them a suitable planet in Dimension X, right?

Actually, Darkwater and Bishop both were seeded a couple of times in the #51-55 arcs, observing the mutants and Burnow Island.

Yes, I remember now!

It's still kind of a weird way to introduce major villains, but I guess when people are busy on the other side...

Speaking of that, what's taking them so long in acting on Burnow? Especially if the Triceratons are going to go there.

Waiting for humanity to deal with Burnow Island is the single weirdest thing IDW has ever done. It's the elephant... no, sorry, it's the giant freaking alien fortress in the room that nobody will talk about.

Even weirder than having to wait 56 issues to meet Leatherhead, not counting all the micro- and mini-series.

Why? Bane was introduced in a side special, not even with Batman in the title. Doomsday in a spinoff Superman series.

I like how most of the conversation has been more about the Universe issue than the actual mainline issue.

The Rat King has been skipping around the pages in the shadows for so long and is finally going to do something, but nah...we gotta talk about the politics involved with Burnow Island

Hey you're just as guilty as the rest of us on that front.

Touche.

Though, it would still be worth pondering why that is.

Hmmm Food for thought, Jennika teaming up with Casey was a surprised, but my bro blurted out something that got me thinking. "So Gabrielle is a ninja now?" I was going to correct him until it hit me. Do we know Jennika's real name?

There's another alternative cover out for TMNTU 21

I swear, Kleve's mohawk gets more and more ridiculous with every change in artist and I love it . He looks like a cheap dinosaur toy from the 90's. (Of course, I also hope those those things were a lot smaller when he was younger, otherwise I feel terrible for his parents)

But, at least the secondary cover for 22 makes a lot more sense. Especially with the seed not sprouting yet.
