Great stuff. I thought it was a shame this line ended so soon. Would have loved a sewer lair. Yours looks just about perfect.

Thanks inaheap

If we disregard the Cheapskate as an original toy recreation (they did appear in cartoon from time to time), the Footcruiser was my first Playmates toy to Lego design. I was heavily influenced by this build from Lego Ideas
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0ee6...3-d34c30802f72
I did change quite a lot, first to fit Mega figures, next to make it more like the original toy, in my eyes at least, and lastly to try and incorporate as much of the original features as I could. The gun turret can be folded and stored in the boot of the car. The Eye Spy Missiles are removable (they need to be removed to close the lid). Unfortunately I wasn't able to incorporate folding wheels.

I've included one photo with a prototype, that also serves as size comparison with the Turtle Van, as well as a render from Stud.io.

As seen on the first photo, the inside of the Technodrome was quite empty so Shredder had to send out his Foot Soldiers to steal some equipment.

I've pushed the portal screen as far back as possible, increasing available space for figures. I've also expanded the platforms on each "door" section, as well as added new platforms below.

Starcruiser! Or Neutrinos' cars or starmobiles.

Everybody remembers the first few episodes, and the iconic flying cars from Dimension X. I've designed them as a retool of my Foot Cruiser more than trying to reinvent them to be as close to the cartoon as possible. Even thou they were created as an afterthought after making the Foot Cruiser, they did bring a huge smile on my face when I built them and placed the turtles in one of them. I like them a lot more then the Foot Cruiser.

PS: The blue car is a bit darker in person, my camera flash makes it look brighter.

This post is a collection of some small builds, both toy and cartoon stuff.

First up is the Turtle Copter from the second intro sequence. You can see the parts used. I think it would look better with a 1x5 tile instead of 1x5 plate, but I only had a spare plate.

Next up is the Turtle Trooper. It's just a small little moc of the original toy, without the parachute and proper colours. It was the final item from the 1988 vehicles to do.

The most well know invention by Donatello is of course his Portable Portal. I had an extra Mega Bloks Star Trek transporter room panel that looked perfect for the portal effect, and I built the rest around it.

And last, but not least, Robotic Unicycle aka "Roadkill Rodney". It's very challenging to build something this small scale with available bricks. I almost gave up on it a few times before finding the right parts.

Thanks guys, appreciated!

This is the final build for now, and it's only renders since I still don't have all the parts with me yet. I couldn't let April be without her news van.

If you guys are interested, I was thinking of posting some renders for previously posted builds, you might see them in a different light like that.

Do you maybe have any idea what I might build next? I'm mostly into cartoon, I didn't see many toys that I find interesting enough to build (I haven't owned any of them, except Knucklehead, so I have no nostalgia for them). Any suggestion is welcome and will be considered

That is a too big of a bite I think. I tried MOC-ing one up right now, just an empty shell with space on the ground floor big enough for the news van to go into. With next floor as a possible TV studio/April's office. But even now, as an empty shell, it's about $130 USD without shipping. As much as I would like to have it, I think for now it would be too much money for essentially a grey/blue cuboid that I don't really have space for now. I don't like designing stuff that I won't eventually build.

Here's a render of it

Any other suggestion?

I forgot to mention, the news van is based on the Mega Turtle Van build, so they are essentially the same size.

Haha, fair enough! I do love your mock-up though.
In case you need inspiration, here's McGregor's Playmates scale Channel 6 building:

How about April's Channel 6 News Cycle?

I saw that few days ago, it looks awesome. But as I stated, I'm more into cartoon aesthetics.

As far as the Cycle goes, I have no idea how to make one in figure scale. Preformed Lego motorcycle parts are too small for Mega figures.

Thanks guys. I'll take them into consideration.

Here are some of the renders for the design phase, before I bought the needed bricks to build them

How does this look? It's still a work in progress, but I'd say it's mostly complete. It was difficult to find all the right technic parts to make it look good.
