Post Thai football team stuck in a cave

The team are trapped in the cave two weeks ago. The kids and the coach seems in good health. One of the Chilean miners send a message of support to the team. Finally, the rescue operation began and the divers rescued 4 kids on Sunday, and another 4 today ( Monday). They will resume the rescue operation tomorrow.
According to the news, the kids were more concerned about how the World Cup matches went than their own situation. The coach being a former monk taugh the kids how to meditate and to focus on positive things.
I hope the rescue operation has a happy ending.

My thoughts are with those who are affected by this. I wish for them to receive safety and security.

Hopefully, all will go well.

I hate to sound a bit harsh, and I hope everyone is rescued okay and recuperate just fine, but I hope they at least feel a bit like jerks (though that's an understatement) for being in there in the first place and putting others at risk to try to save them from someplace they had no good reason to be in the first place. Considering that a former Thai Navy SEAL diver died while trying to help this rescue mission.

So far those kids are very lucky. Hope all others, including those trying to help, make it out okay.

I'm trying to find confirmation of this, but what I've been hearing around the Net is that this group strayed from the path, and got stuck due to it being the rainy season.

But they're little kids, and little kids aren't exactly great at accessing risk. And as for the coach, he was with 12 preteen and teenage boys... That's like herding cats.

I am very glad that they are all out safely.
This should be a warning to the rest of us, to pay attention and remember that safety rules are there for a reason.

Yeah, that is what makes sense.

Twelve young boys that haven't had wilderness training going into the wilderness is a recipe for disaster. You wouldn't see this happening with Boy Scouts their age. Or at least it would be far less likely.

Wow, incredible! A happy ending for the young footballers and their coach.

Mission accomplished.
