I think it's a fanart or unreleased concept art for previous cartoon.They get it somewhere and put in the article.It's look like between cgi movie and 2k3 cartoon.I never expected any reboot close to previous one this much.If it's real not bad at all but it's cheesy as OT and maybe more kiddish.One more thing removing nunchaku's stupid.

Its already confirmed by Alex that this is what the Turtles look like in the Nick show.

Mike does look a bit too goofy back there, but I guess we'll wait and see how they handle him.

Well - they look like Ninja Turtles. I would have been excited to see the '87 cartoon Turtles realized in CG, but these designs aren't bad... even if they do look like Ninja Turtles video game advertising art. I really want to see them in motion.

I'm more interested in seeing some ancillary character designs - April, the Shredder, other villains involved. Here's hoping they start rolling out more art in the weeks to come! Maybe they'll even update ninjaturtles.com sometime soon...

I echo everybody's thoughts on Playmates. I hope they don't cheap out on the toys!

Awesome possum! I like the look, but I'm afraid they will go the sterotypical route with Mike and make him an unintelligent goofball rather than the light-hearted, wise-cracking soul of the team that he is.

I honestly don't know what to think, I mean whats with they're hands and feet, and isn't Mikey using nunchucks in that pictures

In all honesty I think it's a far less abrasively kiddy/hyper-exaggerated look than what I was expecting.

The wrappings around the hands/wrists/feet seem weird. I think they'd bother me less if they were brown or leather-colored, maybe. As-is, they look like half-mummies or something.

i think mikey could be holding two soft kittens in his hands and my minds eye is still going to see nunchucks. Dont care too much about the weapon change, just glad we are getting more TMNT and I do not think they are going to totally butcher the franchise. Sucks a lil bout the chucks but im not gonna complain because my inner child is still extremely happy

Guys, look at the background.

Its dark and gritty, almost film-noir ish or like B:TAS. I think people are overlooking that fact.

first thing i thought of when I looked at this tiny pic is one horrible thought.

"Mikey just cut his head wide open and there's red blood squirting out of it"

obviously its the moon/background but damn hahaha. anyways they look OK, not bad or good just ok. Mike needs his chucks, doesn't matter that cool weapon they give him, the four turtles deserve their signature weapons. if not, hell, lets take away shredders helmet and just make him wear a backwards baseball hat. lets spice it up!!!! hahahaha

anyways, they look cool, but I can't pass judgment until a nice large un-pixelated pic is provided lol.

I dig the art, and I think the simplistic design will work really well with the computer animation.

I do find it funny that this reboot has them looking a whole lot like the detailed stills from the 2k3 series. Not in a bad way, it's just the first thing that came to mind.
