Happy birthday to Cam Clarke!

I just wanted to wish Mr. Clarke a happy 60th birthday. He is an incredibly talented man and a delightful human being. I've shared this story before, but I wrote him fan-mail once and he replied back in such a gentleman like way. He has the honor of the very first leader of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when it comes to television. Also, here is a video of him recording a new video game demo.

Happy birthday, Cam Clarke! 60, but still has the vocal cords of a teenage Turtle, impressive!

I remember back before I wandered back to TMNT I'd been playing WoW for a few years and one of my two most loved characters I have is a male Blood Elf. I was very surprised when I looked up the voice actor and found that it was the same guy who voiced my old pal Leo from long ago. (Who knows, maybe it was a starting point of my coming back to TMNT that I wish I never lost in the first place. )

I guess he still has at least 10 years left in him to reprise Fred Wolf Leonardo a third time if they ever do another crossover.

Not only was the man Leonardo's first voice-actor, but he also was the first person ever to play Rocksteady. The part really showed his terrific comedic skills.

I wasn't a fan of his work as Leonardo's VA in the FW series much. Especially from season 3 on. He was a bit high pitched and made Leonardo sound whiny. He sounded more calm and collected in the first two seasons, especially in the first season.

Wish him a really happy birthday as well

Loved his performances as Leonardo and Rocksteady, and that he was cast in all 193 episodes of the Original Toon as well.

It does make me wonder though, what would a VA Alternate for OT Leo and Rocksteady have been like?

Remember how annoying the ones for Krang, Raphael and Donatello were? Shredder's got a few bad ones as well. So I'm glad Clarke, Coleman and the woman who voiced April never needed a replacement.

This was part of the reason why Leonardo and Michelangelo were my two favorites as a kid. Clarke and Coleman did every single episode of the series. Whenever Rob Paulsen and Barry Gordon were unavailable and someone else had to fill-in for them it didn't quite feel the same. It's also nice that Renae Jacobs stayed with the series the whole way thorough.

Happy Birthday Cam!

While I have little nostalgia for the old 80s cartoon (given my older sister stopped watching it before I have any real memories of anything), he was Liquid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, and that's a role worthy enough to celebrate.

In the FW series only Mike and Raph got birthday episodes. Donatello, like Leo, didn't get one either.

I guess there's only so many ideas they could come up with for birthday episodes before the idea got samey.

It's kind of funny that when he voiced Leonardo in the Nick crossovers he sounded exactly the same as 20-30 years ago.

Happy b-day man! You voiced some of my favorite characters growing up, and I hope to hear you voice many more!

IDW is the best version of TMNT

If they make a TMNT reboot movie retelling the shredder battle/origin, I won't buy a ticket.

Happy 61st!

Watching the clip was an absolute delight.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.
