The only people who get truly cancelled are centered or right of center people who speak their mind or make innocuous verbal mistakes. But lefties who actually go out and burn down buildings, molest children, cause physical harm - they get "fake cancelled" or not cancelled at all. And the final piece of the puzzle to that equation is that the people largely doing the "social cancelling" are the loud people on the left while other reasonable people either just resolve a problem or move on.

Maybe for his non-celeb friends, but he did still hang out with them after they got older, hell they all came to his defence at one point or another
