How big of a role will Karai have? - Page 2

i still stand by my word that Karai wont have a major role outside name and look

and it she is a huge established character than this movie will end up like revenge of the fallen

how many main characters did that film have that they had to introduce...what do you think nothing happens for almost 90 minutes

Still don't know if saki is in the movie. For all we know Sachs could be talking to Baxter. For all we know saki might not do much more than bark orders and Sachs will be wearing the shredcepticon armor.

I am curious about Taylor. With all the 80s references I wonder why not just call her Irma. Even if she's someone completely different looking I still wouldn't put it past them to name her Irma anyway. Weird.

3-7 speaking lines

15 total minutes on screen

1-2 fight scenes

Agree with this. Karai will probably have a supportive role in the first film being the second-in-command, and after the Shredder is temporary defeated for the end of the first film, her role will much more prominent/crucial in the sequel. Kind of similar with Tatsu's role in the 1990s movie trilogy, but she'll have a bigger role considering how much more popular she is in the franchise, but yet also depending on how defeated Shredder is in the first film.

Just thought I'd share this, but Karai is in the 2nd trailer in the scene where the turtles are captured, though you have to look at it cap by cap to catch her. Anyone else see this?

Shes in the left corner if you can't find her.

the chucks themselves are longer than the standard length, its not the clearest, but the position of his hands, can only indicate two weapon types, either:

- eskrima sticks (doble baston) OR
- 'chucks

...and yes, I know my s***, I've studied several styles of martial arts since I was a child. I blame the Turtles for my early fixation/obsession. (this last comment wasnt directed at you POWDER, but I've seen people on this board be dismissive when others start talking Martial Arts, because they supposedly dont know what they are talking about - but its a hard thing to prove over a forum, ya know?)

even better IMO. Kevin Eastman kept talking about RAID inspired fight scenes, and the RAID was heavy with Silat, and Eskrima based open hand, and weapon techniques.
